Myzon was trying to enjoy his afternoon by treating himself to a walk around the town when he stumbled upon a book store. With nothing better to do, and a love of books, he entered the store. Instantly he was greeted by the staff and he said his hellos as she continued further into the building. The place was full of books on shelves, in stacks, and in boxes. It was well lit without being too bright, and he could smell a candle burning which he saw sitting on the check out counter. He knew right away that he was going to enjoy this place.
Grayson was sitting in a small corner of the book store, they were reading a book about snakes. They heard a slight ring of the bell on the entrance door and looked up to see a person with purple hair being welcomed to the store. Grayson had never seen this person before, they seemed quite interesting. Grayson wondered whether he should go talk to them, but he decided against it and looked down at his book instead.
((Ew. I cant believe I just misgendered my oc.. this is off to a bad start lol))Mylo looked up towards the ceiling where the book categories were hung. They weren’t sure what type of book they were looking for, but he was sure something was going to catch his eye. That’s when they saw it.. Dystopian. It had always been enticing for Myzon to read about kingdoms falling to ruins. He shot right over to the section and started skimming the shelves. That was when they accidentally kicked the leg of someone. They mumbled an apology as they turned to look at who was there, and what they were doing.
((Also, dont feel your sections have to be as long as mine, I enjoy the writing portion of it.))
Grayson had just gotten to the midpoint of his book when he felt someone kick him. They heard a mumbled apology and looked up, seeing no one, they turned their head. His eyes landed on the person from earlier and their eyes meet. "Hello." Grayson said.
"Hi. I am so sorry that I just bumped into you." After reitterating themself, they smiled gently at the person in front of him. He reached out his hand. "Im Myzon. Friends call me Mylo." As they waited for the other person to shake hands and introduce themself, he was able to catch a glimpse of what they were reading up on.
Grayson took the hand in front of him. "I'm Grayson. Most people just call me Gray." He paused for a second. "Why do I feel like I've seen you somewhere? Have we met before?"
“I don’t know?” Mylo didn't tend to remember people that well. He tried to, but it just want something he could ever do. “Where would we have met?”
“Um. Actually I go to the U.A High School. I’m a first year.” He cocked his head slightly and smiled after his response.
Mylo rolled their eyes, at themself mostly. “You mean to tell me we are in the same class, and I failed to notice?” He shook his head and laughed softly.
“Could be, I sit in the front. Like, the very front.” He hoped the person next to him wouldn't know him purely from his random statements during class, which is how most people identified him.
"Oh. That's why I recognized you. It's kinda hard to not notice the person sitting right front and center." Grayson replied. They were truly interested in this conversation.
“Well, not really center. A little to the left actually.” There was a smirk now on Mylo’s face. Whenever comfortable with a person they would initiate playful banter.
"I was still close. You're almost the center." Grayson said, a slightly annoyed tone to their voice.
They rolled their eyes again, but there was a smile on their face at the other’s response. “So what are you reading about?” He nodded down at the book in the person's hand.
“Makes sense.” They stood there silently for a moment. “Well, this has been fun. And I don't mean to be rude, but I wanted to go look at some books. Did you want to join me?” He raised his eyebrows, with a slight glint in his eye.
“Well.. You might find this really weird, but I wanted to go look through the old romance novels..” He knew most people though it was far from type of book he would read based on the way he looked, but he really did enjoy them.
"Comics...." She walked down the isles of bookshelves, searching for the comic section. 'Where could they be....' She thought, whining. She ran down an isle and bumped into someone. She mumbled an apology before going to one of the bookshelves.
Myzon had been looking through the bookstore’s selection of Rom-Coms when someone had bumped into him. They didnt really apologize, but it was fine. he understood that they might be in a rush or looking for something. He shrugged and continuted to flip through books. He eventually picked up one with a cowboy on the cover of it..
'I guess I have to talk to them....' Angel turned to them and sighed, walking over and lightly tapping their shoulder. "...Excuse me.."
Mylo turned to face whoever it was that had come up and tapped their shoulder. ‘I wonder what they need..’ “Hi?” He wanted to greet them but he wasnt sure what to say
"Um...Do you know where the comic section is?...I can't find it..." Angel looked around, feeling awkward.
“Yea. I can help you.” Myzon smiled. Not only did he like to be of service to others, but he has spent so much time in the bookstore recently that he knew where every section was. “Follow me.” He then started out of the aisle they were in.
"Okay.." Angel then followed him out of the aisle. She saw him getting farther away so she ran up beside him.
Myzon stopped abruptly. Then turned on his heel to the right, now facing a bookshelf covered in thick comic books. “Here.”
Angel looked at all the comics, her eyes sparkling. "So many comics!" Angel turned to Myzon and smiled, hugging him. "Thank you!" Angel then realized she'd hugged him and moved away. "Sorry..."
Myzon laughed at the girl’s expression to the comic collections. “Its fine. I don't mind affection.” He paused for a moment before adding. “Oh. And if you are just looking for the thinner ones. This thing is full of smaller comics and comic series’.” He stepped the three feet over to a small rack of more comics.
Angel stayed quiet for a minute before pulling out some cash and handing it to him. "Thank you for your help.." She put the cash in his hand, grabbing two comics and going over to the book store person. Angel sat cash on the counter and walked out the store.
It took Myzon a moment to realize that he had just been paid for helping someone find a book section in a store. ‘What do I need this for?’ He decided he should try and return the money. But the person had already left from the store. He had to run if he wanted to catch up with her.
Angel sighed and ate her candy while reading her comic. She stopped for a minute and put the candy wrapper in her bag. She pulled out a drink and almost walked into a car.
Myzon looked both ways after exiting the bookstore as he was not sure which direction she had gone in. When he spotted her he started in that direction, held up the money, and yelled. “Wait!”
Angel looked back, confused. "Hm?.." She looked around and thought they talking to someone else, so she just put her drink and comics in her bag and went to the Allyway.
Myzon rolled his eyes. This was about the stupidest thing he was going to do in his entire life, but he followed a total stranger into an alleyway over a few bucks.
Angel sighed and sat down on the ground. "Guess I gotta wait for Mr. Kurogiri.." Angel pulled her comic out and went back to reading it.
Mylo shook his head at himself for wandering down the dark alley. Though he felt slightly better when he just saw the person sitting on the ground reading. He was lied up to her and reached out the money still in his hand. “Here. I came to return this to you.”
Angel looked up and shook her head no. "You keep it, isn't that what your supposed to do when someone helps you?" She pushed his hand away and went back to reading.
Myzon looked stunned. “No…” he reached the hand back out with the money between two of his fingers. “Plus, I didn’t really do that much for you.”
Angel shook her head and stood up, pushing the money towards him. "Just keep it. Don't follow me." Angel pulled a knife out. "Or I'll kill you..." Angel grabbed her bag and ran away. She reached a place she thought was far enough away and stopped, panting, holding onto the wall. "This is so stupid..." Angel looked up to the sky.
Myzon held his hands up defensively, dropping the money as he did so. This was the first time he had ever had a knife drawn on him and he wasn’t sure what to do. And just as they were about to take a step back the other person ran in the opposite direction. ‘What the..’ Myzon was still trying to catch his breath…

"Where am I?......" Angel hugged her knees tighter, putting her head on her knees. A few minutes later Angel got up and started heading back to the ally way to see if the person was still there. She saw no one so she went towards the sidewalk but fell when she was almost out. She winced in pain to see her leg hurt badly. "Ow.." She held her leg in pain as it bled and looked around.
