What do you think after reading this chapter?

Matthew Landers | 19 comments This chapter has given definite answers to some questions that have had since the first time I read the Riyira Revelations. Legends gave hints that lead me to possible answers but is is nice to know for sure. Thank you Michael for always coming back and closing all of the story plots. This makes me look even more forward to Esrahaddon!

TS Chan (tschan) | 3 comments Arrrgghhhh!!! Okay, I've never been able to hate Nyphron completely (I do find him as a compelling character) and that conversation between him and Nolyn actually made me like him a bit. I believed what he said about Persephone and why he named the city after her. And now.. SIGH...

Michael, you've never failed to put me on a roller coaster of emotions. Never thought I'll feel this about Nyphron though. Bravo!!

Michelle (michellehartline) | 21 comments I was definitely upset, which surprised me.

Michelle (michellehartline) | 21 comments And did I miss something? Sephryn didn't seem to evince any surprise at the name of the person in cahoots with the villain. Maybe it was a case of too much bad juju in too short of a length of time.

Sarah | 40 comments Agreed... Nyphron was never really known for his character, and his first appearance in this novel made it seem like he had fallen a long way without Persephone to keep him in line. But after his reunion with Nolyn and his rallying to fight for the city, I was actually sad to see him go. And sad as well for what that meant for Sephryn's soul and her lost afterlife. I had been hoping Malcolm would appear to save the day, but apparently that has been part of the enemy's plan as well. A piece of crafty writing there. But as in all MJS books, I still have faith in the good guys winning, which means in this case, I'm hoping Arvis outwitted Mica.

Diamond | 9 comments I wish Sephryn had believed her mother more, trusted the stories were not myths or tales, maybe did some research on her own. Moya was obnoxious and uncouth but she was loyal to those she loved almost to a fault. I wish Moya explained more, especially why she was so angry about aging. I was never a Nyphron fan but this...I understand it all and the pieces fall into place...I am just wishing here.
