FantasyYour character and their brother have always been best friends. They know practically everything about each other. Until they catch him doing something they never thought possible.
DystopianIn the mountains, a traveler finds a survivalist school run by a doomsday prepper who doesn’t know the world has ended.
RomanceA waft of something flowery washes over your main character as they jog down the street. They turn and follow the scent to someone dancing in the middle of the street to no music while reading a book.
HorrorA chilling voice appears in your head. It won’t go away. One day, it tells you that you have to run.
General FictionYou’ve lived an average life up until today, your 20th birthday. You just found out that your dad is the runaway son of a doting criminal warlord, and your mom is the daughter of an equally doting secret agent. Both family businesses are looking to make you the next heir.

Turn on the TV and write a story about whatever headline pops up (this sometimes won't work for political stuff, but you can figure it out).
One prompt per post, to keep things neat.
Nothing too weird or graphic, but something unusual that will catch our attention.

Prompts come in different styles and formats, you can post pretty much anything as long as it makes sense.
