What's the Name of That Book??? discussion

I read this book probably around the late 2000s early 2010s. I don't think it was brand new when I read it but it wasn't particularly old either. Unfortunately I don't remember much about the plot except that the monster was a wendigo, the main character was a teenaged boy, and it took place in the winter. Which I remember because it was so effective for me that I literally remember feeling cold while reading.
I believe the cover was a white snowy hill against a black/dark background with the title in white. My copy was a small trade size paperback.
