My favorite book is Runaway Twin by Peg Kehret. I love this book because it made me wish I had a sister like Sunny. Someone who would fight tooth and nail to find me. Even though Sunny is kind of head headed she's still my favorite.

Stephen King. He just gets me. I think it's a fellow virgo thing. It's easy to read someone who writes like you think and makes characters so utterly relatable.

My favorite author is Jane Austen. I like her writing style and the period in which her books are set.

I have to go with Jane Austen, too. There are other authors I like - Conan Doyle, Edith Wharton, Daphne Du Maurier - but I've read Austen's books dozens of times.

I love Pride and Prejudice, but I also enjoy Northanger Abbey a lot and think Mansfield Park overall and Fanny Price get a bad rap sometimes.
I also thought "Lady Susan" was interesting and read just about all of the modern adaptations of it.

It's on my to do list to read all of her books.😂 Are there any books you would recommend for our group to read?
I adore Jane Austen! I love everything she wrote and I keep on re- riding her novels, especially Emma. Happy to be here!

Elizabeth Acevedo! Her books make me feel happy and noticed and many other things. They are beautifully written and she makes wonderful stories I cant help to fall in love with.

I think "Pride and Prejudice" is pretty close to the perfect novel. It just seems to do everything a novel is supposed to do, and it is very well crafted. It saw a big resurgence in popularity back in the mid-90s when the miniseries came out. Probably one of the best adaptations of a book.
Michael wrote: "Stephen King because his characters are so incredible"Do you like his book the Shining?

I have several, lol. Ken Follett

Jane Hamilton

Currently loving Jessica Winter and my longtime favorite and obsession
Michael wrote: "Stephen King because his characters are so incredible"His gift for creating a character and bringing them to true life in less than a paragraph has always amazed me.
