Ele (notorious_ele) | 33 comments I started this topic because I feel we need it.

Anyone have theories for what may happen in SOC 3? It's pretty clear that there will be another Grishaverse installment sometime, judging by the ending of Rule of Wolves. (view spoiler). Any thoughts of what else may occur?

Onto other things, I'm fairly certain Kaz is somewhere on the ace spectrum. It was fairly obvious to me in SOC, but there were lines that said otherwise in CK. Bardugo hasn't said anything for or against it as far as I am aware. I realize it would be "problematic" rep, but it would be really nice to see a disabled ace character for a change. It is obvious to me he is at least demiromantic.

Any other theories or headcanons?

a frog in a crown (ya-antagonist) | 51 comments I want to see more Wesper moments, but I don’t want it to be just like wholesome relief. I want to see them going through things and coping with that.

That would be good. It would be pretty unrealistic if they're just being happy and wholesome, especially not wholesome because Jesper is just not that. They've both been through so much it just wouldn't be realistic if everything was easy. Trauma doesn't just disappear overnight, and Wylan literally nearly died at his father's hand on more than one occasion...

I hope we get an epic heist but this time seeing the Crows involved with Dragon Queen Zoya and the whole clan as they try to find Sankt Felik's heart to free the Darkling of the Thorn Wood.

I agree, but Leigh Bardugo said if she makes a 3rd SoC at least one of them would die. I don't think I could handle that honestly ! And I don't think Nina would join them again so that would also be very, very sad.

Lovisa | 1 comments I could not handle either Kaz, Inej, Wyland or Jesper dying.

I think it's possible Nina will be included. She was working for Zoya after all, (view spoiler)

I wouldn't be able to cope with any of them dying either. For some reason a part of me thinks it would be Kaz, to show he, like every other mortal, is still fallible. Awful, I know, but that's how I feel.

She better not make it Wylan or Inej. I'd scream.

Ele (notorious_ele) | 33 comments I just realized - if Bardugo DOES write another Grishaverse novel, it'd probably have to be its own trilogoy/duology, judging by the ending of ROW. I'd guess that the main casts of all three of the other series would come together to (view spoiler). That would be SO epic.

a frog in a crown (ya-antagonist) | 51 comments 1) I want to see Inej with a badass crew of female pirates killing slavers on the True Sea
2) I don’t think another crow is ever going to die, and I hope this ages well
3) I want to go to the Waderling Isle badly

OMG that would be so cool! I'd love to meet Inej's crew.

I do think that at least one of the crows would die. Most of them just don't give "live to old age" vibes.

Unpopular opinion: I want Kuwei to rejoin the gang. He's absoluetaly hilarious and had wayyyy too little screentime.

a frog in a crown (ya-antagonist) | 51 comments Who do you think is going to die? I think it’s going to be Wylan. Kaz and Inej are to much of main characters, Jesper is too useful and i don’t think Nina is going to be i it

Personally I feel it'd be Kaz or Wylan. They are both the types of characters who typically do - Kaz, the tough one who none can win against, and Wylan, long-suffering but having now found happiness. These characters always die...
Who knows, it may even be both. If so, I'd scream.
The main things going against Inej and Jesper is that Inej is sort-of the main love interest and she would be at risk of being 'sacrificed' for Kaz (BUT thankfully that trope is near dead) and Jesper is the manically mischevious one whose death would pretty much get the same reaction as Fred Weasley's, ie everyone sobbing because he was always so happy and funny. I also think Bardugo should not kill them off because they are the POCs and whenever a white author kills one of her non-white characters, it always has pretttyyy bad conotations.

Nina is safe. She doesn't fall under any characters-who-die tropes. One could argue that this would count against her, but....
I would be very, very mad if she did go.

a frog in a crown (ya-antagonist) | 51 comments Sorry I don’t know how to reply bc I’m incompetent, but to the post before this: I do not think Kaz will die bc he has cane and his problems that lead to him using one are based on her own experiences.

That's a good point. I honestly don't like the idea of Kaz, Wylan, or Jesper getting killed off solely because I'm sick and tired of disabled characters dying. I do think story-wise, Kaz dying would work, but otherwise....I also just don't see Inej or Nina dying for some reason.

Also if Jesper, the sole happy disabled character in fantasy, dies, then I have no clue how I'll manage.

Ele (notorious_ele) | 33 comments I just started Siege and Storm, and....there's a Zemeni called Jes at the very beginning. Could it be.....?

(unless there's something to confirm otherwise later on in the book)

I think it was also mentioned that he had grey eyes - which Jesper, my darling bisexual gunslinger, also has?

sAmAntHa (Leigh Bardugo’s version) | 15 comments WAIT THERES GONNA BE A THIRD BOOK-
Okay, uhh…
Personally I want more Wesper scenes(cause they’re soo cute)
I also wanna see Inej going around with a crew and Kaz ruling the barrel and see how their relationship goes.

And, uhh, I hope this doesn’t happen, but here’s something sad that has potential in happening in SoC 3:

So basically one day one of Kaz’s spiders go to him with the message that Inej and her crew has been missing for the past two days. Kaz is freaking out and sending people to investigate, while trying to figure out what happened to inej himself. Maybe goes on a killing spree, and thinks that Inej is either unhappy in her relationship with Kaz so she just fled or she’s actually in trouble. And then a few days later they caught wind that someone who has beef with Kaz broke outta prison and took Inej hostage and somehow kidnaps Kaz as well and makes Kaz watch as the he( the person who has beef with Kaz)
tortures the hell outta Inej.
Okay where did that come from-
