You have H1N1? D : How are you feeling now?

message 7: by [deleted user] (new)

I think I do so does my Mom but I can't be sure because they stopped testing for it where I live. Your not supposed to go to the doctor unless you think you're going to die. Better than yesterday. Not my normal self but better.

♥Jenny♥ Ambizzle wrote: "Your not supposed to go to the doctor unless you think you're going to die."

Well that's stupid. What if you're dying and you don't know it?

message 9: by [deleted user] (new)

Well on the CDC website it says only go to the doctor or take your child to the doctor if they won't wake up they have a really high fever dehydrated and can't drink can't breathe wheezing so on and so forth also people that have asthma are supposed to go in because they could get really sick because it's a respiratory disease.

♥Jenny♥ shinysugar wrote: "i got a doble pneumonia when i was 4. I almost dieed. =)"

What is doble pneumonia?

message 27: by [deleted user] (new)

The medical term is bilateral pneumonia. It's when both lungs are inflamed rather than just one lung. Younger people don't necessarily die from it, mostly the elderly. My grandfather died that way.

♥Jenny♥ Melzz wrote: "The medical term is bilateral pneumonia. It's when both lungs are inflamed rather than just one lung. Younger people don't necessarily die from it, mostly the elderly. My grandfather died that way."

D : Aww, I'm so sorry. Isn't that kind of like asthma? Or am I mistaken?

message 29: by [deleted user] (new)

Well, in both cases the lungs are inflammed, but they have different overall effects. With asthma, the muscles in the airways become swollen and constricted. With Pneumonia, fluid literally fills the lungs.

But I don't know much, I'm not a docter. *shrugs*

First of all, you know a lot. And second, asthma sucks. The other day in softball practice, my throat started to close up on me. I like, couldn't breathe. It sucked.

Yeah, there are some odd things thought to be beneficial. Like, nowadays, we put maggots on burn victims chests to eat away the burned skin... We haven't changed much from the pee days. :/
