This book was absolutely amazing! Richard Matheson writes with so much visual description in this book which makes it so enticing to read! I literally could not stop reading it! Middle-aged man, Robert Neville survives in a world he finds to be his own after three years of pure isolation. Keeping to his schedule, he is out by day but hides by sunset. The thrill in this book is so captivating! Being chased by a mob of the undead, especially when one of them is your best friend sounds so thrilling! Imagine the amount of fear that would arise after forgetting the time, with the sun setting, the moon making its peak and what meets you as you drive home alone is a pack of bloodthirsty vampires, how would you get into your safe house?
