Hello, Fantasy readers!

I am weeks away from finishing the final corrections of my epic fantasy trilogy’s English version entitled Chronicles of Koiné.

As the theme song from Star Trek Enterprise says: “It’s been a long road… But our time is finally here”. :D

The trilogy is composed of these books (6” x 9”):

• The Five Races (227 pages)
• The Schism (300 pages)
• Salvation (309 pages)

I published the first volume’s English version in 2019, but it has gone through significant corrections ever since (starting with its title, which used to be The Five Breeds), thanks to the generous feedback from an English Literature Master.

So, what I would like to do is to “recruit” ten brave ones who would like to embark on a most intriguing quest: to discover the world of Koiné, a planet that has marveled hundreds of Spanish-speaking readers already.

You will find a beautiful story with endearing characters and surrounded by a fantastic environment that evokes somehow our world, containing interesting reflections about love, friendship, bravery, and forgiveness, as well as several passages that remind some of the darkest zones of the human psyche: rancor, revenge, treason, deceit, murder.

So, how does it work?

1. I’ll be including interested people on the list until June 30th, 2021 or until ten people sign up. You must be a native English speaker who lives in the USA or the UK. You don’t need to be an American / British necessarily, but I’ll be sending books only to the USA / UK for logistics reasons.

2. I’ll send the not-for-resale preliminary printed copies of the three books to the address you tell me. They should arrive by July 15th, 2021. You’ll have six weeks to read the three books and give me feedback. So, this means you should’ve finished reading the trilogy by August 31st, 2021. It would be best if you e-mailed me with feedback about each book as soon as you complete it, so all your memories and impressions of the story are fresh. Feel free to write down your thoughts directly in the hard copy, if you prefer. This way, creating the summary e-mail should be easy.

3. As a token of appreciation for thanking your selfless effort, I’ll mention your name on the Special Thanks page at the end of the books, and when publicly released, I’ll send you the final version of the three books for free. So, your name will be there for posterity.

4. Are you interested? Great! Please answer this thread stating that. I’ll send you a friend request here in Goodreads to contact each other by private messages so you can share your delivery address and contact info with me.

Alvaro I would be willing to help. I am a former journalism major, English minor, English and ESOL teacher by former trade, and have recently embraced the fantasy genre since the COVID closures.
