The Writer's Roundtable discussion

Okay, this is writing, but I'm putting it here because its a game. Here, you can just make up stupid stories with a few other people.
Rules:

One sentence per post, let someone else go, then you can go again.

When creating a new story, put the genre at the top.

One story at a time. If someone is already writing a story here, don't end it unless they are ok with it.

Talk in (parentheses) when not writing

Don't go into detail about plot or characters. This is a fun game, you shouldn't actually write here. Just use it as a creative outlet.

No extreme violence, blood 'n guts, or 18+ writing please. Don't be afraid to kill characters, but be reasonably appropriate.

genre: fantasy I suppose

I was walking along a path in the woods when I saw it.

It was curled into a ball at the base of a towering oak tree, staring directly at me.

They said it was deadly but I had no fear.

Creatures like this often lurked near the edge of the woods.

However, that didn't stop me.

I walk up to it, lips pursed slightly.

The dragon's scales are a deep shade of red, the color of blood.

I kneeled down in front of it, trying to get a better look.

Its breath was terrible, repulsive.

And as I crept closer one of it's big black eyes suddenly opened to look at me.

The dust got to me and I sneezed, right in its eyeball.

It growled and stood up, taking the time to glance around before landing both of it's beady eyes on me.

"Sorry, mate," I say with sympathy in my Australian voice.

The dragon grumbled and sniffed before curling up into a ball again and falling back to sleep.

"Jesus Christ," I murmur.

The still sleeping dragon bats it's wing at me, as if it was telling me to go away, I sigh and stand up.

But I don't leave without a fight.

I kick the dragon lightly, trying re-wake it, I promised Lynn that I would get him a dragon, or at the very least the scale of a dragon, but I can't do that if the dragon is asleep.

It doesn't move so I kick harder, hoping I don't die because of my brother.

The dragon still hasn't woken and I'm thinking of just grabbing one of it's scales and running away.

However, I'm doing this the hard way or not at all so I yell, "Hey! Dragon! I'm trying to get your attention here!"

The dragon made a whiny noise but opened it's eyes and yawned.

I glare down at it, but when I realize I'm not dead yet, my features slowly soften.

That's when it showed me it had Taco Bell for dinner.

The crumpled Taco Bell bag gave me an idea, I could bribe the dragon with tacos.

I grin at the dragon and say.....

"Want some Taco Bell?" The dragon's eyes flew open and it jumped to it's feet in excitement.

Its mouth gated open like a hungry dog as it burped in my face.

I wave my nose in front of my nose, "Peeeeeeeeeeeeuhhhhhhh, Mr you've hade one too many tacos!!!!"

Then the pile of practically liquid dung behind her came into view.

I hoped on his back and tried to grab one of his scales, but he started off into the sky, with me still on his back.

I was shaken and rattled, he didn't want me there.

The dragon heads to the nearest city and lands in the outskirts.
