I am sure no one missed me. I have been going through computer withdrawal. My hard drive died. I also had a lupus flare.

I have intense fatigue after a flare. I also am still trying to recover financially from covid. I had to wait a bit before purchasing my new comp.

They are getting better. It was just a hard couple of weeks. I am surprised at how lost I felt without my computer. It has become such a large part of my daily routine.

It was almost worse then then the flare. LOL

I can't imagine being deprived my computer for a week or more. Glad you are back on line.

No, I started a thread for nomination weeks ago, but no one has nominated anything. I am not sure if there is still interest in group reads. I am open to continuing, but I can't get a read on the group. (no pun intended)

It does seem like the group has gone quiet. Do you want to do buddy reads?

Sure, we can do a buddy read. We can post it as a nomination in the thread I started and see if that gets anyone else to join in. If not, we can do a buddy read together. Any suggestions?

I would love to read a classic. I am just finished Les Miserable. It has created a craving for classics. I would prefer not to read Jane Austin,Little Women, Wuthering Heights or Jane Eyre. I have read and read them to many times

A classic would be great. Do you have one that you have been wanting to get to? I was just saying in another GR group to someone that I have never read Great Expectations and know that I really should. I also have wanted to read The Cantabury Tales for many years. There are many great classics that we could choose.

I would be up for a classic also. The timing is good for me too. Renee, I am happy to hear you are feeling better.
