HISTORY
Amaris was born into the Werlace royal family of demons, she was the first born and in the Confederation of Free States the females are of higher rank. Her mother was a cruel demon who wanted to rule, and not step down from her throne so her daughters could do their part. The treatment of her daughters was kept silent, and never told to the rest of the kingdom. At the age of 2 000 years, Amaris had her wings cut from her, by her own mother. Quickly Amaris new that when it was her time, she would kill her mother and take the throne. She had seen it in her visions and all went to plan.
The older she grew the more she was respected as the new Queen, and Amaris thought she had a small population in her kingdom was followed loyally. She has refused becoming allies with the other kingdoms, since war is pointless to her, and she knows her people would be whipped from existence.

HISTORY
Gwendolyn Grenryett, or Gwen for short. Was born to the Sheulia royal family as the youngest an only daughter in the family, which an arrangement had been put into place before her birth. She was to marry Prince August of Festren, when she came of age, and at first was very much so against the idea. She met him at the age of two and doesn't have many memories of their first interaction other then small glimpses of moments. At the age of 3 she was gifted Wyn, her animal guardian since her parents didn't trust her to stay safe with anyone.
Since her first interaction with Prince August, she has seen him a total of three more times. She enjoys joking around about their future, but understand that one day it will be a reality and she knows she must accept that to be in favor of hers and his family. Being the only girl in the family makes life quite dull, since her parents wouldn't let her spend time with them for the first few years of her life. Even now her brothers see her more as something that could be hurt easily, and she doesn't like nor appreciate that she is seen in this way by people.

History: Kel was born as one of the princesses of Europa, and one of the eldest ones (so far, may change when more people give profiles, will edit this as well). She was always cranking her family and people closest to her as a child, and as she grew up it turned into more sarcasm and witty remarks, and she was often disciplined for them if she said something in front of a council. Early on, Kel began training with Europa's military to defend herself, but her focus is mainly politics. She can still be sarcastic, but she wants peace between the Europa and Botformin and secretly thinks the nationalists had a point but that the way they went about it with an assassination was wrong. HISTORY

Kadon was born as a forbidden child to an angel mother and demon father. His older sister Mary, was a demon and born to the same parents, but she was 3 years old. Never meeting their father didn't matter all that much, until Mary started to ask questions about him and her mother got mad striking her daughter on the cheek. Mary was 6 and Kadon 3 years old now when this happened, so their mother chose to take them to a church in a now ruined city. She left them to the priest that lived in the church telling him to care for her children since she no longer wanted too. For many years the priest was very kind to Kadon and Mary, he played with them and spent most of his time with them outside. When Kadon was 6 and Mary 9 years old, things started to change, the priest become aggressive and would beat Mary and Kadon if they did the slightest thing wrong.
One morning, Mary had been eating breakfast when the priest came into the kitchen yelling curses at her. She was forced into her demon form and the priest attacked her, trying to kill her, saying that she was impure and only Kadon was pure. Kadon hear the commotion and fought to save his sister, when the priest made an offer. Kadon would serve him and Mary would be forced to leave the church at the age of 10 years old. Mary accepted wanting to live rather then die, so before she left she vowed to come back for Kadon and help him escape the terrible man.
Kadon was beat and hurt worse then either him or Mary had felt before, he even had his wings painfully torn from his back. He was left crying on the floor in a small pool of his own blood. Since then he had forgotten his mother, only remembering small glimpses and nothing more. When he was 8 years old, Mary returned one night to help her brother escape. He was so traumatized he attacked her, and they fought only to be separated by the priest, but it didn't matter since Mary was already dead. With not much else to do the priest sold Kadon into slavery and Kadon has since then been unable to truly remember anything, because of a curse the priest put on him.

History:
August was born into a royal family, being royal comes with responsibility. He was promised from the time he was born to a daughter of the Sheulia court. A girl was born two years later in the Sheulia court, her name was Gwendolyn. The two were promised to each other immediately, it would be a political move for the parents, and it would guarantee a marriage for the children, a beneficial one.
August had his first royal introduction to Gwen when he was four years old, she was two. The two toddled to one another and played for hours with a nanny out in the gardens. They picked flowers for their mothers, and were dirty from head to toe, much to their nannies dismay. By the time August was eight they’d seen each other three more times. Though at eight years old, and six, they now understood what lay in their future. Marriage, ew. August and Gwen would talk about it and either laugh or gag. They played tag in the ballroom while it was empty, and hide and seek in the kitchens, while being chased by their nannies.
Though he had plenty of sisters, and a brother, he enjoyed, and looked forward to playing with his best friend, Gwen. The two were rambunctious and never left one another’s sides when they were together. They even took to writing one another in between visits, keeping one another up to date on shenanigans or boring events they had to sit through. Being royal was boring sometimes, and August made no show of pretending otherwise, he told his mother honestly what he thought of certain traditions, and things that had to be done every year. Claiming that his mother and the rest of the royal families were living in era that was long past. He believed they should make new traditions and be more willing to change.
August is almost of marrying age, his parents are going to expect him and Gwen to start making plans soon. Auggie knows his responsibilities, but he isn’t quite ready to grow up just yet. He has a lot of adventuring he’d still like to do before marrying, as well as a war to help plan. August is highly skilled in combat, though his defensive combat could use some work. He doesn’t do well with magic, but in hand to hand he does spectacular, as well as in archery. As he is the first born child he has a lot to think about, he will one day have an entire kingdom that will rely on him. Just the thought makes him jittery sometimes, he still feels very much like a young boy, he hopes his father lives for a long time. He has no plans of attaining the throne anytime soon.

History: ((TW, abusive, drunkenness, death)) Caledonia was born in Europa to a poor family in a town near the capital, and her mother died giving birth to her. After this, her father fell into a drunken rage, and he was abusive towards Caledonia for ten years. During that time, when she was four, he re-married another woman ,and had two more kids, her twin siblings Garrett and Zeya. Caledonia began protecting them from their father, while at the same time her stepmother, Trissa, would always do what she could to get Caledonia in trouble. As a result of the neglect, she ended up turning to theft at only seven years old to feed herself and her siblings.
After her father broke her leg one day when he found out she stole food for her sick sibling, she finally ran off with her siblings. However, when she did, she found that they were alone and lost, and when she asked some of the royal soldiers for help, they turned her down and beat her in the street, solidifying a growing hatred of the monarchy in her mind who would employ people like that; not all the guards are like that, but those she encountered were. They also killed her brother, Garrett. On the brink of starvation, she finally, with Zeya, made it to an orphanage, but the situation there was no better.
It was not in the capital and far removed from the castle, hence why less regulation existed, and Caledonia and Zeya found further neglect, but this time with bullies added on top of that. Caledionia became more angry than she was, and blamed the government for what was going on far from their capital, but she was already enraged by what happened with Garrett.
When she was sixteen, she finally ran off, again, with Zeya, who was now twelve, and determined she could make a living on her own, so she ran off to hide and live in the Europan woods and build a house, which she did with help of one person, Cole, that she met wandering around (may be my loner than I make). After this, Caledonia grew so angry and bitter--still stealing--that by now she was wanted for all her theft, some of which had turned violent when she flew into a rage thinking about Garrett and blaming all her issues on the government. She finally began connecting with others around age eighteen, and moved to an abandoned cave with her little sister, where she plotted insurrection against the Europan royal family. She was arrested alongside some of the people who followed her (she reached out to people after connecting with some thieves she met in the streets), and for trying to overthrow the monarchy, has been waiting in a cell for the past week or two for her execution.

History:
Carden was born into the royal Werlac family and is the first born.
He grew up making a lot of trouble for his mother, he would play pranks on visiting courtiers and nobles. When he was younger he mainly kept to himself, he rarely talked to other people his age, he would often go out into the forest behind the palace to explore. It was there in the forest that he met a large serpent by the name of Ariadne, Carden quickly became friends with the ancient serpent and learned many things from her, he has never told anyone about her. One day when he was about 56 he was out in the forest wondering around, when he came across a Morterath if you don’t know what a Morterath is then you are very lucky, they are huge creatures with jet black scales and fiery red eyes, they grow two sets of legs every three years and they’re blood is a very dangerous poison that they are often hunted for. Luckily it was only a child only 30 to 40 feet long if it had been older it probably would have killed him, he had tried to get away but the beast quickly hunted him down and almost killed him if it weren’t for Ariadne coming to save him. He will carry the scars from the attack for as long as he lives.

Carden is cunning and cruel, he won’t hesitate to use his status to get something he wants or to demean someone. He is very flirtatious and seems to in joy making people uncomfortable. He is mean and uncaring he doesn’t care what you think of him whether you love him or want him dead. He can be fast to anger and he is certainly not someone you want to be around when he is angry, he can be reckless and dangerous. He may act differently but he is very smart both mathematically and strategically. He doesn’t connect with people very well and rarely even lets his family see what he is feeling. He spent many years of his life perfecting the art of hiding his feelings and being able to put masks up to hide what he is feeling. He has built walls between himself and pretty much everyone he knows so that no one can get close to him and he can’t get close to anyone else. He is a very good liar it is said that he could con a con artist, unlike some princes and other demons he doesn’t care much for bloodshed and hates swords and daggers and most sharp things. To much of the distaste of his parents he mainly focused on less bloody talents such as pick pocketing, lock picking, and soft footing (an ability to walk very quietly even on leaves and rocks) so pretty much he learned to be a thief. His parents tried very hard to get him to learn how to use a sword, daggers, bows and other such things but Carden refused all of it, but even with only knowing a little about how to use a sword and hand to hand combat he is still very dangerous seeing as he is very strong and faster and more agile than most other beings since he is a demon.
Under all of this cocky, flirtatious, demeaning, sadistic, rudeness there is someone very different. He is caring and kind and dislikes seeing other beings in pain, just as he can use his power to demean and hurt other people he can use it to help others and protect them. He is loyal and will stand by those he cares about through anything. He is very is also very couscous even though he acts differently, and he tends to worry way to much about stuff. He is funny and has a way to of making others feel better. He is also very affectionate and hates seeing people he cares about sad or hurt and will do almost anything to make them feel better. The real reason he hides this side of himself is because over the years he has been alive he has seen kind and caring people get used and hurt, and have their kindness used against them, so he hides his real self. Panda was born to one of the strongest known demons in history, the Queen of the Confederation of Free States. She had a brother that was born before her, Carden. He was much different than Panda, standoffish and angry. But with Panda he was a completely different person. He would hold her and cuddle her when she was a babe, all the way up till she was a young demon. Though Panda may seem old, she really isn't compared to other demons, including her mom. She's still quite young and acts it as well. She's had a few girlfriends in the three centuries she's been alive, but no one that was going to be long term. She just hasn't found the one that could break her heart, or visa versa.
Panda has seen war, and what it does to people. She's thankful that she's never had to be in one. Her mom is her best friend, aside from Carden of course. She and her mom are quite close, and she would do just about anything for her. Except agree to an arranged marriage. Panda enjoys her freedoms, besides what princess would want to marry a demon? She doubted there was one out there willing to take the chance.
Panda may not like sad people, but if they’re deserving of a good whip or death, she’s as ready as the next demon to deal that out. Though she isn’t in such a position often, her mom and brother shield her quite a bit from such horrors. Though she really isn’t as bothered by them as they think she is. Things get tense when she is in one of her ‘blue’ moods. She stays in her bed all day and sleeps, barely eating, and only coming out of her room when it is absolutely necessary. She doesn’t get in those moods often, but it takes a lot of coaxing to get her out of them when she does get in them.

History: Katniss was born to a poor family in Europa's capital city, and for the first few years of her life, her parents stole to survive, as much as they could. Her father eventually ended up being caught by the street vendor he was stealing from, and killed by the man on the spot, leaving the family without someone else to help take care of Katniss at the time. So, her mother gave her to a local orphanage and was never heard from again. Kat ended up being raised there until she was six, when she was turned out because the place was too crowded. She wandered the streets for days on end, starving, and was almost dead when a guard on duty, Grennory Winters, found her and took her in to his family—both he and his young wife, Alexia, were soldiers for Europa, and from that point on was raised to be one as well, and she excelled at it, which made her the target of some bullying from others her age when she started to surpass them. This, and because they knew of her humble beginnings. She fought back and would often beat people up, but it could be encouraged, and she never stopped proving herself. She became intrigued with the weapons and defense early on, loving the exhilaration of the fight and the adrenaline of missions, and worked her way up through the ranks to become the Captain of the Guard of Europa when she was only twenty-one years old. She still remembers her past before she was adopted by her new family, and it’s one of the things that she hates talking about because it was sad, and she always recalls her birth mother never wanted her. Because she credits Europa’s monarchy and soldiers for saving her life as a child, she has vowed them her complete loyalty.

Personality: Katniss can be a very tough individual, and she isn't tolerant of slacking or excuses in Europa's military. HISTORY
When he was born rune had a rough upbringing, he was born into a strange clan of banned magic users, he grew up believing to be right and after exploring too far he fell into a hole where he found himself in a deep ever falling pit he couldn't move and heard a voice call out to him as he awoke he smelt flames and ran out to see the entire village burned, he saw the flags and people scream and as he ran into the village he saw people who looked like knights see him and yell out then start shooting at him as he ran off he found himself in the woods running barefooted and alone then he fell and was backed into a corner as he was with most people he looked around and there it was the people as then went in and surrounded him he stood up but was shoved to the ground then laughed at as they held him by the throat up he started crying and heard the voice again saying ‘do you want it, do you want us’ as he heard this he saw the blade fly towards him and then it drop to the ground as he started to float and the creatures of the woods came around and slaughtered them before he passed out as he fell he saw a large figure slowly pick up the man and crush him. He awoke and ran back to the village after he saw no bodys and saw it all gone as he found this he found a book of the elder and a few other supplies and saw the creatures once again as he packed his gear he walked off and was greeted as a friend left for many years to come. Many years later he was found wandering in a forbidden forest by guards who took him to a royal family before he was taken prisoner and as they were trying to force him into slavery he said now and stood up the shackles breaking and the royals being found dead a while later with the entire castle been ruined like there was a monster attack but on a larger scale. And like that he became known around the kingdom, known by almost everyone as the wanderer, don't trust him and stay away, says the royals but is he all that bad, still to this day he wanderers.

History:
Sam and her brother both grew up in a place called “The Oubliette” no it wasn’t a jail (view spoiler) It was a place where people would go to drink and forget there life and they would go for pleasure. Sam’s mom worked there, she is what you could call a Scarlett woman, she was in fact one of the most requested women at the Oubliette. When Taylor was 22 she had her first son Maven, when she was 26 she had a set of twins who she named Candy and Maddie. Sam always hated the name Candy and she had no idea why her mother gave her such a terrible name. Sam’s mother died at the age of 34 from fever. Sam refused to be used as one of the girls who worked there so they threw her out, her sister Maddie on the other hand agreed to their conditions and worked there as a bar maiden on the terms that when she was of age she would continue the work that her mother had done. Sam lived on the street for about two years she would come by and check on her sister very often, She lived with a retired soldier who taught her how to fight, track, sharp shoot, and many other things. One day when Sam came to check on her sister, she found that Maddie had been beaten and killed her body left in an ally. Sam had been heart broken and in raged, at herself for not having protected her sister well enough and at the people who had killed her sister. After she had lost her sister she tracked down her older brother who had been sent into the military when he was only 14. She told him what had happened and together they tracked down who killed their sister. After that they disappeared taveling a lot and taking on contracts. When same was 19 and Maven 20 they were drafted into the military again. They quickly made their way up the ranks until they were assigned as Assassins.

Mavis Patron is the oldest of nine siblings, four sisters and five brothers. Her parents were famed soldiers they fought and won many battles. They raised their children to be fierce warriors, and to be trained in the art of almost every type of weapon, and when they turn fourteen they choose their favorite weapon and they’re parents would have a black smith make it.
Mavis grew up trying to be the best row model she could be for her younger siblings, so she trained harder and studied harder than any of her siblings. Her parents didn’t find it necessary to teach their children about herbs or healing techniques. When Mavis was seven she was sent into town to get a healer for her mother who was pregnant with her youngest sister, once Mavis found the healer she brought her back to their home and as she watched the healer help her mother she decided she wanted to learn about becoming a healer. So after her training each day was over late at night she would study books about herds and how to set bones. But she never told her parents about this because she did not want them to be disappointed in her. When she was thirteen she was diagnosed with what would come to be called Cataracts that were slowly growing and getting worse and by the healers estimates she would go blind around the age of thirty-four. She fought in a few smaller battles, and found that she preferred being a healer rather than being a soldier.

Appearance: Topon has thick, jet-black hair that he usually leaves only a little shaggy and gleaming eyes of liquid amber that reflect whatever he happens to be looking at. He towers over people at 6'2, and his large frame is made of only muscle and grit. Basically, he's ripped, but he doesn't walk with an air of condescension. Rather, he holds himself like a soldier: shoulders back, stomach in, chin level, neck elongated, arms and legs straight, fingers pointing down, straight back, and hips under. Never does he slouch or do anything to compromise his militaristic posture. He even walks stiffly as if he was a robot, which, in a sense, he is. His voice is simply matter-of-fact only. He never shows any emotion through speaking or any other mannerism, which only serves to isolate him even more from society. His skin is a light shade of olive and is always warm to the touch thanks to his high metabolism. He has a square jaw and thick eyebrows that are sometimes furrowed into a deep frown as well as defined cheekbones and a slightly crooked nose from a particularly nasty incident when he was a youth. He has huge hands and feet that work to his advantage in dealing powerful punches. His shoulders are broad, and his legs are a bit longer than his torso. He has a small scar just above his right eye and a secret tattoo of a firebird on his back. Other than that he possesses no other distinct markings except for a few battle scars across his chest and stomach.
He is usually seen only in his armor, uniform, or traveling clothes. When off-duty, Topaz typically wears trousers and tunics in neutral or earthy tones, preferring to appear unremarkable (well, as unremarkable as a hulking giant like him can appear). Brown leather boots protect his feet from the terrain, and his ornate broadsword is normally sheathed at his side in a plain scabbard. Since he has a strong frame, his full armor is rather heavy and skillfully crafted, but often he forgoes his helmet except in cases of extreme danger. He also detests capes of any kind and so only wears them for the most formal of occasions when he has to.
Personality: At first glance, people can completely tell that he has a militaristic background. The stiff way he walks, the controlled swinging of his arms, the way he never looks down at the ground (even when talking to someone far shorter than him. He just stares over their head at something behind them), and the way his shoulders are always back speak volumes about his past and his personality. He's logical and even a little wily at times, yet he is also daring and brave, knowing when and when not to make calculated risks. He's someone that most people instantly respect for his bravery and natural leadership qualities, but as one comes to know more about him, a deeper, more sincere respect begins to develop for his honorable principles and uncompromising values. Even though he can seem emotionless, he truly cares for each and every person in his life, but he doesn't like to show it. He doesn't really know how to in the first place. The way he shows he cares is protecting all people in his life, especially the men and women who serve under him or under whom he serves. He's loyal to the very end no matter how bad or how tense things get. He doesn't get embarrassed easily or care what other people think about him, so he has no issues standing up for what or whom he believes in. If there's an injustice done, you can count on him to do something about it, but sometimes his actions don't exactly follow the law, causing him to get into trouble, especially with his superiors who didn't want him casting a negative light on the army when he was in their service. Still, he hasn't done anything serious enough to get into major trouble with the law. Yet. Topon also feels like his soldiers are family to him. He never lets on that he feels this way, but if you know him well enough, the signs are obvious. He doesn't take foolish risks, and he doesn't send men and women on missions that will certainly lead to their deaths. His motto is "no man (or woman) left behind." He will gladly sacrifice his life to save but one person, knowing that he will have died an honorable death that was not in vain. He also was always willing to patiently listen to a fellow soldier and help them out if he could by offering advice or service. He doesn't do so well with emotions, but anyone knows that if you ask him his opinion, he won't tell you what you should do; he'll tell you what the right and honorable thing to do is. Topon values honor highest above all else. He has no patience for cold-blooded killers or for those who prey on the weak, and he'll make sure they get what's coming to them.
Strengths:
With his broad form, sheets of muscle, and finely trained reflexes, Topaz is an incredibly difficult opponent to beat. He is also skilled with various weapons (mostly blades and bows) thanks to his mother’s thorough training.
Topaz is well-versed in all the conventional strategies but isn’t above adding some of his own creativity, causing him to be considered a bit of an eccentric.
He doesn’t crack easily under pressure and can compartmentalize things quite well.
Weaknesses:
He is truly horrible at any kind of social interaction that doesn’t involve intimidating someone, and as a result of behaving like an unfeeling robot, he has little in the way of friends.
He has a tendency to annoy other people (especially his superiors) because of his stubbornness and strong, personal moral compass. He would rather be honorable than obedient, a trait which has gotten him into trouble in the past and will likely do so again.
It takes him a long time to trust others, but he does expect that those serving under him will follow orders even if he can’t let them in on the big picture.

History: Topon was the first child born to Israfel and Demelza Inova, nomadic, former soldiers who traveled across the continent defending individuals and small villages from sinister threats. Even after he was born, Topaz’s parents continued moving from place to place and kept up their lifestyles fraught with danger, and it wasn’t until his younger sister, Hannen, was born that they finally settled down in one place. That place happened to be the Luxentinian Empire, and his father took up a job as a blacksmith while his mother rejoined the ranks of the army.
Since his mother was a captain in the army, he was raised primarily by his father, but he looked up more to Demelza than Israfel. Israfel was a kindly man and as a good a father as he was able to be, but Topaz had bigger aspirations. He wanted to be in the army like his mother and badgered her constantly to tutor him and let him train to be a soldier. Eventually when he was old enough, Demelza gave in, albeit reluctantly, against the wishes of Israfel. Hannen remained silent on the matter, knowing better than to challenge her brother’s bullheadedness. She was wise for her age but just as stubborn – if not more so – than him, but she knew how to pick and choose her battles. Since she and Topaz were not very close, she deduced correctly that he would not listen to her.
Topaz took to his lessons quickly, proving to be very talented just like Demelza. Because of his bigger frame and some of the muscle he had already built up from working with his father, a blacksmith, he excelled in combat training. But though he was talented, his restless nature did not allow for much patience and inhibited some of his success when it came time to learning stratagem.
Topaz became more distant from Hannen as he immersed himself in his training and studies, which gave everyone fewer headaches in the end since Hannen and Topaz were both so infuriatingly stubborn that sometimes they would argue for hours. With Topaz preoccupied, the heated debates lessened considerably. It also helped that Topaz was often too tired from training and his duties because his sister usually had her head in the clouds, forcing him to be the practical sibling and see to the day-to-day needs of the house. As it turned out, this would set a precedent for the remainder of his life.
But when a deadly sickness came to their corner of the world, Topaz was made to stay home and away from the other soldiers and trainees by his father. However, Hannen would not be made to keep away from the hospitals. She was a devout worshipper of the even the most archaic deities and counted on them to spare her from any epidemics or plagues. Topaz, ever the skeptic of her beliefs, ordered her not to expose herself to the sickness, but she paid him no heed, convinced utterly that it was her obligation to help the sick and ailing as a vestige of the deities of life and that they would protect her as long as she remained faithful and devoted and helped the less fortunate, causing harm to no one. Unfortunately she succumbed to the illness she was fighting against in the makeshift hospitals in poorer towns. But instead of abandoning her faith, she remained steadfast, convinced that she was being punished for the many she hadn’t been able to heal. Some in her care had lived, but others had died. She wept for the deceased and then for her own plight, terrified of her coming death as her symptoms were never relieved; they only worsened. Israfel caught the sickness too, taking care of his daughter while Demelza was away on a campaign.
Topaz was left to care for Hannen and Israfel. Trying times for all three of them, certainly. Topaz knew little of caring for the ill and even less of comforting bedside manner. How did he react to Hannen’s constant fears of death and sometimes barely coherent chants and pleas to deities who had clearly abandoned her? He had little to offer her in the ways of comfort, and his feelings were mixed of worry and relief when she fell to almost constant delirium and stayed mostly unaware of her surroundings.
Meanwhile, Israfel slowly regained strength and seemed to be recovering, but Hannen only grew continually worse. She started hallucinating and would sometimes scream horrifically in pain and fear when she managed to shake the delirium for a short while. When she was awake and conscious, she would describe her dreams and hallucinations to him, and he often wished she wouldn’t since they were gory, grotesque, and bone-chilling. But still he felt sympathy for her, wishing she would be better soon.
Eventually Hannen completely lost the ability to talk coherently. She would be fully awake and conscious, but she would babble on in unintelligent sounds and made-up words. The most frightening part of all of that was that she acted like she was speaking perfect English and grew frustrated when Topaz and Israfel couldn’t understand her. They tried to explain it to her, but her mind couldn’t grasp or comprehend the concept. Day by day her mental functions deteriorated, and her hallucinations and bouts with delirium worsened.
Topon V. Inova - Part TwoHistory cont'd: For a time she had been awake and conscious more, but now she delved back into her mad chants and sobbing pleas.
The morning she died came as a strange relief to both Topaz and Israfel. A piercing shriek came from her room early one morning, and by the time Topaz had burst into her room, she was dead. They buried her under her favorite tree and forged a marker in the smithy. When Demelza returned from her campaign a few months later, she was heartbroken and forbid Topaz from resuming his training once the sickness had mostly passed. She would not lose another child if she could help it.
A few months after the death of Hannen, Topaz and both his parents departed from the Luxentinian Empire and resumed their nomadic lifestyle. Demelza said everything in the empire reminded her of Hannen, and she couldn’t bear it any longer. Now that Topaz was older and there were no small children to think of, the family could return to traipsing across the continent and fulfilling their honor-bound duties as Good Samaritans, which was exactly what they ended up doing. Of course since they were also facing danger on a regular basis, Demelza allowed Topaz to continue his training under her, much to his delight, but before the matriarch of their family could teach him all she knew, she was slaughtered by a bandit when she and Topaz were trying to guard a trade convoy. While passing through, the villagers of a small town had asked for their help in protecting them and their supplies when they traveled to the next town over as recently they had been attacked by a pack of bandits on their route. Demelza and Topaz had obliged, leaving Israfel to remain in town and gather new supplies, weapons, and armor to replace the items that had been too damaged or worn to be functional anymore. Everything went well until the convoy was attacked, and several of the bandits targeted Demelza all at once. Topaz was too far away to help, fighting his own battle, but he had a clear line of sight and was able to watch his mother get skewered to death and horrifically torn apart. Presently, the clouds blocking the sun were tugged away by a breeze, and in his rage, Topaz slew every single one of the attacking thieves, saving most of the villagers and their supplies.
Afterwards, it was only Israfel and Topaz, but after several incidents where Topaz couldn’t control himself and injured innocent bystanders, his father decided it was time to try something more sedentary again. This time, they relocated back to the Luxentinian Empire, and much to his father’s dismay, Topaz promptly joined the army and rose quickly in rank. His strength and resourcefulness did not go unnoticed, and though he was among the most destructive, he was one of the most effective at protecting the borders. He led campaign after campaign against enemies both outside the empire and within, quickly growing smarter and gaining the ability to plan out successful stratagems on his own. Eventually, he was promoted to Captain of the Guard. He had always kept silent on the matter of his father being in the empire, knowing that another, experienced soldier in the army would be too tempting a prospect for anyone to pass up, but somehow or other it got out eventually. Once things between Europa and Botformin got hostile, Israfel joined his platoon, and with his father’s skill and experience, Topaz could organize larger-scale attacks. However, he let his continued successes get to his head, and he planned a risky operation against the counsel of his father. The endeavor ended with Israfel being killed, and after that, Topaz vowed never to be so reckless again. With things getting worse between the nations, his fire never diminished, but he made sure his strategies were well-thought out and heeded any sound advice that came his way. With just a little luck, he’s confident that he can make the crown’s wishes a reality by the end of everything.

I did my best rating these 1-10, but please be aware that these are not perfectly accurate. I had a hard time rating intelligence since Topaz is very logical and would score high on rational abilities, but he doesn't have good emotional or social intelligence and would score exceptionally low on those abilities. Also, 'defense' is such a vague category that seems to overlap with some of the others, and attack is probably not all that accurate either because his effectiveness varies depending on what weapons (if any) he's using and other circumstances. I filled these out because it's required, but honestly to get the best picture of Topaz and understand him as intended, it's probably best not to pay the stuff below a lot of attention.

Her eyes are hazel, but they usually appear to be a warm caramel, dark brown, or sometimes a mottled green in different lightings. Her height is about 5’7 and a half, and she weighs roughly 122 pounds. Normally her skin is a shade a little darker than cream, but she’s tanned considerably during the summer months. Now her skin tone is a light brown with several freckles on her cheeks, nose, shoulders, back, and elbows. Her skin once was silky smooth, but now it’s rougher and calloused, especially on her hands, back, and feet. Her face is the only spot on her body that still has skin soft to the touch. She has an oval shaped face with gently curving lines and petite facial features. There isn’t a sharp line anywhere on her face, even her cheekbones are smooth and rounded. Mia normally wears clothing that is both comfy and easy to maneuver in. Practicality trumps style in her wardrobe every time. Cargo pants and tank tops with thick straps are staples in her closet, and she prefers long, loose articles of clothing. Her wardrobe is far from bright and flashy; she likes neutral colors, earth tones, and things that blend in easily with her environment as she prefers to not be noticed. She’s never seen without her worn, wool cloak or black combat boots, which are beat up from continual wear and have frayed laces. She almost never wears shorts, even in hot weather, but she will wear appropriate clothing in the winter time. Her nails are never painted, and her makeup is mostly light and natural. Heavy makeup isn’t really her thing, and to her, it’s a time waster, especially with her occupation.
Personality: Mia is a quiet woman who never forgets the power of silence, unlike the rowdy child she was throughout her upbringing, but can you really blame her? She was raised by only men after all and had no steady, female role models in her life. She’s since quieted down a lot and is a master of stealth, subtlety, and tact. She is also a firm believer in only saying something if it’s going to be helpful, virtuous, or kind. Otherwise she won’t even open her mouth. Some people take her quiet nature as shyness, but she isn’t afraid to speak her mind at all. She just believes there’s an appropriate time and place to do so.
She’s a very caring and compassionate person, and she never turns away someone in need, even if she doesn’t have much to give. She’ll readily make personal sacrifices for the sake of helping another, especially one of her friends. She makes friends easily everywhere she goes, and most people who know her would agree that she’s a more than decent person. Her friends often confide in her for her practical advice, and she is also often a shoulder to cry on. She’ll even let people who aren’t her friends lean on her at times. Needless to say, she’s an excellent friend and is very supportive and loyal.
She is mature far beyond her years and is always willing to share a bit of knowledge or wisdom to anyone who asks or needs it. Sometimes she gives advice to people who don’t want it but only if she thinks it will help them, though she often feels torn over this. She doesn’t want to play God, but she doesn’t want to watch them fall even further without her help either. Usually, she opts to give someone the advice anyway as she will regret not saying something almost immediately.
One of Mia’s main troubles is her inability to let go of guilt, even over things she had nothing to do with. Anytime something bad happens, she finds a way to blame it on herself. She’s even been known to take responsibility for things she had no part in, much to the confusion of other people. This is most likely a consequence of the kind of work she does and the huge amounts of stress piled on her. Her superiors are perfectionists; no mistakes or blemishes are allowed. Plus, even though her friend and boss Topaz was really the one responsible for their group during her time in the army, she still felt that she should be held accountable for any mistakes made.
She is very highly intuitive and can make accurate judgments about people in a snap. Part of this is due to her upbringing and training, and part of it is due to natural talent. This has made her a bit of a judgy person, but she keeps those thoughts to herself and fights hard against stereotypes. She’s one of the few that realizes that everyone is complicated with their own set of hidden problems and that people are like puzzles in progress. People are always changing, and you never can see the whole picture at once. She is a firm believer in the truth of the quote: “Be kind, for everyone you meet is fighting a battle you know nothing about.”
Mia is good at thinking on her feet and coming up with creative and out-of-the-box solutions to both simple and complex problems. She prefers to think things through, but she has good instincts and can make good, split-second decisions if she has to. Her true strength, however, lies in her subtlety. She can manage to do all kinds of things with it: setting traps, cornering someone with words in an argument, getting her way via flattery, and so on. The applications are almost endless.
She tries her hardest to think strictly logically, but she is never very successful for very long. Her feelings tend to be unusually strong, and she falls in love very easily, a fact that she despises. So, she tries to compartmentalize things as best she can, but it never works for her. She tries hard to get out of that mindset, but in her line of work, that’s the kind of mindset that keeps you alive and successful career-wise.

History: Mia grew up the youngest of five children. Her mother died when she was very young, and she has few memories of her. Sometimes she thinks she might remember something, but she can’t tell if it’s actually a memory, a dream, or something she just made up one day as a child. Her father always kept very few photos of her around their home, so she’s not even sure exactly what her mother looked like. Her only sources of information are her older brothers, though their memories have faded over time.
She had no female adults or role models to look up to during her childhood and all throughout her life. She was raised only by men: her father, her older brothers, and her mother’s brother, who had moved in with them after his sister passed away to be closer to his family and to help out his brother-in-law any way he could. Sometimes one of her aunts visited when their cousins came over to help out with the family occupation, but usually Mia was the sole girl present.
Because Mia was surrounded by boys and men her entire childhood, she learned to play rougher and tougher like the boys, but it alienated her from all the girls around her age. At tea parties, she would invent plot twists that were sometimes morbid or gross. Once, she turned the party into a whodunit murder mystery, and another time, she made believe that all of the stuffed animals in the party had turned into dangerous, killing robots. Needless to say, she was not invited to many play dates or parties. She never really minded, though. She would rather play pirates or assassins with her brothers and their equally rowdy friends. It took a while for the boys to accept her into their games, but she persisted until they included her. In this way, she grew close to her brothers, especially Jean and Sebastian. The two of them became her role models and her source of advice in tough situations. Mia’s solutions to everything normally included violence or foolish risk-taking, but as she learned, that didn’t always work out. So, whenever she was stuck, she went to the more sensible members of the house: Jean and Sebastian.
Mia’s father instilled in her and her brothers the strength and values that had been instilled in him by his father and instilled in his father by his father and so forth up the line. He taught them to always be brave, strong, and quick-witted, but he did not teach fear as the absence of courage. Instead, he told them that bravery and courage is the judgment that something else is more important than the fear. He also put them through tough, physical exercises to keep them in shape and so they could defend themselves if the need ever arose. Another training exercise he liked to do was to have them creatively solve problems on their feet. He invented all kinds of problems for them that sometimes got him in trouble with his superiors on the ship, especially when he damaged the coolant system for the engine once. Strategy was the other kind of thinking he taught them. Through chess and other games, he showed them how to play the long game and how to be patient.

Either way, Mia learned all this right along with her brothers, and she excelled at it, even surpassing Wolfgang and Sebastian. The one person she could never prove herself better than was Jean, the eldest sibling and her second favorite of her brothers. He was always two or three steps ahead of her, and he was unusually wise for his age. He sort of became the replacement for their mother as time went on, and Mia could often be found tagging along with him wherever he went. She loved Jean, but she loved Sebastian more, though she didn’t always understand him.
Sebastian was the day dreamer of the bunch, which fascinated Mia, who was a doer and not a thinker, but despite this, the two grew very close. They were both quiet souls and could often be found reading in the library together, her with The Art of War and him with a medical textbook. Sebastian was the only sibling that didn’t want to follow the family tradition of military service. He wanted to be a doctor, which Mia struggled to understand at first. She loved the idea of the military, so why didn’t he? Sebastian was too kind and gentle a soul to fit into military life, and he didn’t really have the skill set for it. Mia realized all this as she got older. Sebastian would often explain to her what he was learning, and she would quiz him on human anatomy, learning a lot in the process. This is why she knows more than the average person about the human body, though not enough to be an actual medic. Their father seemed to be the only one who wasn’t happy about Sebastian’s aspirations. He and Sebastian fought all the time with Mia interceding for her brother whenever she could. After a couple months of this, their father let him go.
Around this time, Mia was watching her older siblings join the military life with envy. She couldn’t wait until she was old enough to join them in the service, but for now she had to content herself with working in the family forge. For most of her life she had been trusted with administrative tasks only while her father, brothers, and few of her older cousins did the actual work and filled commissions. Now that Jean, Johannes, Sebastian, and her cousin, Felix, were gone, her father let her and Wolfgang do a lot more of the heavy lifting around the forge along with two of their other cousins, Georges and Claude.
When Mia was finally old enough to go to bootcamp, she left with Wolfgang, who had waited for her so that they could go off together. Wolfgang graduated at the top of their class, and Mia wasn’t too far behind. She couldn’t wait to be with Jean, Johannes, and Felix again.
After about six months in the service, she met a man nicknamed Topaz, who was going to be her new superior after one of her promotions. They did not get along well at all. Topaz was an emotionless robot who ordered her around, asked the impossible, and never really listened to her. Mia hated him, but she could see why he was in this position. He was clearly gifted and incredibly smart; he just lacked little subtlety. Over time, she discovered that Topaz really did care for the people who worked under him. He just didn’t show it in any kind of a normal way. The two began to hold a grudging respect for each other and eventually formed a very powerful partnership. They would now trust each other with their lives and are very close.
However, later on she was recruited as a spy. Curious, she accepted the assignment and began her training. It was tougher than boot camp, but she did make it through with high marks. No one knew about her new occupation; they all thought that she was a soldier just like her brothers (with the exception of Sebastian). In her new occupation, she was given high clearance once she passed all the tests. As she rose up the ranks, she was allowed access to more and more secretive projects the government and military had been working on off the books.

PERSONAL CHARACTERISTICS
Physical Strengths: Immel has tough and thick scales on her arms, hands, back, tail, feet, most of her face, and collar bone. They are flexible giving her the ability to move around easily. Her tail is like a third hand and she uses it to grab things if her hands are full, as well as if she is climbing. Using her tail as support helps her keep her balance if knocked over and such. Her senses of sight and hearing are heightened and this gives her more of an advantage when being chase by people after stealing from them. Immel along with her human-ish form, also can change into a dragon. Which has it's advantages since she then has wings. Yet for the time being she isn't fully grown and her dragon form is still in it's younger stages of developing.
Physical Weaknesses: Immel's main weakness is the lack of scales on her legs and not having wings. Even though her feet have claw like nails and the skin is thicker, she doesn't have good protection on her legs. She is also not physically as strong, but as she gets older and the more she builds strength that will improve, and become less problematic. Her speed with climbing is quite amazing but when it comes down to running, Immel is more likely to lose without help from the elements.
Mental Strengths: Immel is a skilled trickster and enjoys a good prank or joke, even if the joke isn't all that humorous she will laugh. Yet she can also be quite friendly and a really nice person to those who she considers friends and even 'family' since her view of family isn't just by blood. Her ability to measure distances is quite amazing and it helps her calculate for example how much she needs to jump, in a matter of seconds. Immel also has a surprising amount of understood with boats, even though she hates water.
Mental Weaknesses: Her strengths are also her weaknesses, even though she loves to joke around it has gotten her into trouble countless times, and she can often go to far with her pranks. Stubbornness is something Immel prides herself on and she can be difficult to persuade once she has set her mind onto something. Immel has a lot of pride and doesn't like people trying to put her down and has no fears arguing for silly things to keep her pride.

HISTORY
Immel was born in one of the Festern villages, populated by dragonborns. Her eggs was stolen by a human after being mistaken for a dragon egg, and later was left in the forest after the mistake was realized. Immel was quite capable from hatching and made a life for herself, hunting and stealing food since that was how she had found was the best way to get what she needed. At the age of 10 Immel was already able to shift into a young dragon, hunt and was a skilled con artist. This later got her into trouble when she was 12 and got in trouble while trying to steal fish from a harbor, where she almost got put into jail for her reckless actions.
At the age of 13 Immel was walking along the docks when the captain by the name of Tomas was looking for crew members. Even though she hated water more then most people combined, she decided to take her chances. Stealing clothing from a boy her age she washed it, cut her hair and changed her clothes. She had a boyish build and hadn't matured quite yet so it was perfect for her, and she easily passed as a boy.

Weapon: A giant sword. The sword is about 4ft long and about 1 ft wide down the length of the sword. It has two hooks on either side of the rectangular blade, and the wave-like ripples make it a wonderful tool for cutting open armor.
History: Anaderus was originally born as a son to wealthy and influential merchant parents. During the political mess that marked the start of the latest economic depression, his parents made a play for power and unseated the previous king, placing Anaderus at the top. Anaderus, being too young, let his parents rule, and on his 20th birthday his parents were assassinated. One of the reasons he hasn’t been killed is because he keeps the kingdom together and for the most part keeps the economic and physical damage from the war minimal in their country, despite starting to make preparations to join the fight in Europa. He married Elzana in his late 20s.
