When Ari was young she was naïve and cocky, she would often pick fights with beings older and stronger than her, she did have a bit of a reason for being so cocky because she was the strongest shapeshifter of her generation and of many who were older than her. 
But now after many thousands of years she is very different. She is calculating and fierce she will stand her ground in any fight. She is cunning and very intelligent, she doesn’t pick fights with other beings unless they attack first. She is very untrusting and wary of new comers, she could also be described as being quite shy she stays away from most civilizations, mainly because whenever she inters a town they try to attack her. She is very old and wise, she knows many things about the world that are long forgotten or purposely left in the past. She is a fierce and strong fighter and not someone you want to anger. But if you gain her loyalty she is kind, trusting and tells great stories, she is funny and caring. 

History:
When she was young she was reckless and often picked fights with beings stronger and more dangerous than she. Well one day in a small town she picked a fight with the wrong demon at the wrong time, the demon was extremely powerful and was in a terrible mood that day. Ari having been the stupid young girl she was she picked a fight with him and he lost it, she shifted into her favorite form a large oily black serpent. The demon cursed her to remain in that form for as long as she may live. She has been stuck in that form ever since, it has been over 3,000 years since she has been cursed. She searched for many years for a demon or sorcerer strong enough to take the curse off but she never found one, so she gave up and left to live in the forest by herself.

Strengths: Ococean are able to turn invisible, by changing the colour of their skin. Which is soft and feels like velvet to the touch, and is groomed by them often. They are also able to create sticky silk out of their saliva which they use to trap attackers.
Communication: They communicate through sweet bird-like songs, and with the ability to change their skin colour, their emotions can be shown through the colours as well.
