im thirteen, but my parents either treat me like I'm an adult and i should be taking care of the whole family, which means cooking, cleaning everything. or the act like I'm a three-year-old and don't know how to do anything.

Turning twenty next month and it's giving me a mild existential crisis. And it's caused by the word and plural of "decades."
I'm still mentally 17, I cannot adult yet-

Hey, uhm, I hate to be a bother, but to all of the people under thirteen in this group and generally on this site, you technically aren't supposed to have registered an account on this site. By the Federal Institute COPPA, you have to be thirteen to register for any social media account, and sadly this qualifies as one, I'm not saying that you need to go and delete your account, but maybe not publicly stating your age? I do know we have a folder for ages which is helpful most definitely to see what age group is predominant in this group, but perhaps not saying when your birthday is or something isn't the wisest. I myself used to do that when I was a bit younger, and then someone found a good deal more of my information and well, things didn't go too well from there as well. And although I'm sure that this website has a strong code and blockers up to keep our information safe, it doesn't always work too well. So uhm, this is just a suggestion, but uhm, yeah. And also, one more thing. I really don't suggest asking about s*x and stuff like that. I don't really feel as though this is the group for that, and well, I really don't suggest looking it up either. I understand that this might sound a bit cliche, but in all seriousness, just ask your parents, if they feel as though you aren't ready to know, then just wait a little bit, please. And well, I think that's it, so uhm, yeah.
