I have contacted LouWho12 multiple times over PM, and she still has not checked in.

Because of this, I am forced to assume she no longer wishes to participate. Consequently, TEAM 1 is now down 1 member.

Please decide as a team the option you would prefer:

OPTION 1: I can join the team.

OPTION 2: Your score will be multiplied by 1.5 to compensate for the "missing" member. This boost will last until a third member joins. Once the booster goes away, you will not receive it another.

OPTION 3: Do nothing.

Please respond by June 10, or OPTION 3 will automatically be chosen for you!

What do you think y'all? I honestly think option 1 is great.

I am so sorry I've been off Goodreads for some time (I've been off everything, in my defence). I have spent some ALL my time reading books, I'd log all of them right away.

Also, as no one has decided on a name or given a suggestion, I am going ahead and choosing a name for us.

I stared at my bookshelf for suggestions and I had three options: Northanger Abbey, Wuthering Heights and Divergent. For some reason I wanted to use the name of a place, additionally, I'd even get to complete a prompt if I choose one from these. So, finally, I chose NORTHANGER ABBEY. If anyone of you wishes to change, do so, I really won't mind. Till then, this is my chosen one.

Since you did not choose your team name within 10 days of the challenge, and since you were the only one active at that point, you don’t have to have any one agree with you on team name.

My favourite genre is fantasy. My least favourite genre is psychological thriller. My least favourite trope is musical and most favourite trope is classical.

Just a note: While I can join your team (OPTION 1), I would prefer not to. Also, I can’t promise that I’d be a helpful teammate due to the personal book rut I’m in. However, while I do recommend against OPTION 1, it is ultimately your choice.

Yes and no—

The score for each book you log will be multiplied by 1.5, and rounded down, if applicable. However, I’m not going to multiply you final score by 1.5, only the individual scores.

Does that make sense?

What I mean is, what about the previous books that have already been scored? Because since the very beginning it is just the two of us logging books in the group.

Okay, here’s what I can do:

I can’t award extra points for the books in the beginning due to your team already having chosen option 1 the first time.

However, what I can give extra for will be the books read between June 28 and the end of the challenge. June 28 is the date Mary joined your team.
