More fun we can have with horse books!
These may only work with computers, not phones, and please let me know if they work on tablets.

Take up a Challenge in this Group.

Add your favourite horsey books to a List on Listopia. Go to Browse tab on top of the screen and you will see the Lists option. You may search for key words like horse, mule etc. and if a list has not been started about the kind of books you want to show off, you can start your own list. Remember that other people will come and add books as well, so don't call it by your name. Call it Horses on Islands or whatever - that's a good one! I'll go start that.

You can recommend books you have read, for this Group's Bookshelf, and I will place them. We have a thread for the purpose. Authors, please do not self-promote.

You can start a Quiz question about a book you love. To do this, use the Community tab on top of your screen. You will see Trivia. With that open, you can answer questions other people have posted, or "add a question" on the right. You get to show the cover and title of your horsey book. Authors can create a question about their own book if they wish.

Here is a link to the List I started called Horses on Islands. See if you can add any books or vote for books already showing.

Don't forget that writing a review for a book you have read, is also a fun activity!

Another fun activity about horsey books, is that you can post a quote from a loved book or author.
Check first that the quote is not already in place - if it is you can Like it and it will attach to your profile.

To get there, you go to the Community tab at the top of the screen, and ask for Quotes. Here is a direct link to the Quotes page.

https://www.goodreads.com/quotes?ref=...

When you arrive you see the most Liked quotes on the entire site, but you can go your own way and enter a keyword, like horse , or author, like Anna Sewell .

Here is a direct link to the page of quotes from Anna Sewell's Black Beauty. As she only wrote one book, there is no confusion.

If you want to enter a quote, you should pick from the books by the author in a list that appears.
And I have found that if the book you want is not in the list, the author you like is probably listed slightly differently in the system - for instance with a double space between first and last names, as two or more authors have the same spelling of name.
