So you need help learning some math?
Answer these Questions:
1. What grade are you in?
2. Do you know how to do basic math?
3. Anything else?

I'm still in Algebra so I don't really know, but I think that is right..
To be honest, I just recently started thinking about what smart really is, and I don't believe there is a smart or not smart type of person, but a range of the intake of learning and how it affects our lives and how we perceive it. Like, if someone can connect to or likes a certain subject better, they will get better grades and try harder. Then people will see that and label them as 'smart.' But when someone doesn't enjoy a subject or doesn't connect to it very well, (maybe they get distracted, maybe they are leaning more to their right side of the brain.) they get labeled as 'dumb' because they have no interest in that subject, therefore, they do not try. Or maybe it's the way they act that tells people, 'Oh, this person isn't very smart.' but in reality, they could be good at some subjects, just not good at interacting with people. So yeah, that's just my way of seeing it. I'm willing to bet you are very good at other subjects you can relate to and enjoy.
