Mystery Madness discussion

This will be our selection for June, which I pulled out of the #Book1CoziesClub Jar. This will be our discussion thread for this book. Please be sure to hide your spoilers if there is something that you would like to discuss. The best way to do this is to note what chapter you're on, then hide any spoilery parts.

I have started to publish audio only reading vlogs for these selections on my YouTube channel which are called Chapter by Chapter. In these vlogs I let you know my candid thoughts on the book as I read it. If you'd like to read along with me, the videos usually start posting around the 10th of the month and each vlog covers a set number of chapters.

I ended up DNFing this book. You can hear a bit about why on the June Selection Update video that is now on my channel. I did ponder on the decision for 3 days before deciding to throw in the towel. This is also why I start the recordings early for Chapter by Chapter, in case something comes up or in the unlikely even that I don't enjoy what I'm reading.

In this case, there was just nothing keeping my interest in this story and I had started to skim in the last Chapter by Chapter I recorded. That being said, there will not be a Series First Impressions video on this selection either. Just wanted you to know.
