Here are some classic well-known technothrillers. Since technology exists in all aspects of life, a technothriller can really be any genre. Technology just has to be a primary driver in the plot. Common subgenres include military technothrillers, crypto technothrillers, and scifi technothrillers.

Patrick McLanahan has been the protagonist of this series since the beginning, but Patrick's son, Bradley McLanahan has become the protagonist, and the novel is set in the near future, and Bradley leads a team caught at the center of a conflict for control of space.
