2017 Reading Challenge discussion

Honestly, I was a little bit disappointed in this book. I actually liked the first book a lot and was hooked from the start, I think I finished in two days. But with this one, I would stall as much as I could. It only picked my interest towards the middle. I found it slow paced till almost 3/4 of the book, the mysteries surrounding WICKED, the trials, the deadly Flare and what became of the world after it were uncovered too slow for my taste through Thomas memories and there are a lot of plot holes that I hope will be filled in the final book or in the prequel. Also, the most interesting character, Theresa, is absent for most of the book and we don't see her relationship with Thomas evolving as much as it should, since they are supposed to have this deep connection and all that. All in all, I would give it 3/5 stars.
