~final thoughts~ well, my 12-year-self would prob loved these two series very much. But both of these two had major problems. The characters are problematic

I just loathe the protagonists(america and mare are just two douchebags), not to mention cal and aspen, I JUST CAN'T GET THE HYPE FOR THESE TWO STUPID PERSONS.



The only two persons I LOVE is Maven and Maxon.
They have my heart.
Maven has it a bit more than Maxon.

What did Celeste do in the later books that made you like her?? I only read the first two books and I'm not going to read the rest of the series but I need to know what happens because I despise her

(view spoiler)[Celeste actually dies*sobs* She got shot when the rebels attack at the engagement and the ~final~ choosing ceremony of Maxon's selection when she was saving someone(?). And the her character development was awesome throughout the whole book. She actually explains America why she was being a french fry and a brat the whole time*coughs*the reason was pretty stupid and lame, you can search it in internet because i totally forgot it lol*coughs* So yeah, these things made her a cute and fluff character coming out of the box. ~final thoughts~ : I honestly didn't really like either, to be honest, but I definitely prefer Red Queen. The Selection had an excellent plot, but I couldn't stand most of the characters. I'd definitely read both, though!

Im a huge fan of both the series but Red queen is something special to me!
WHile Selection lacks in diversity, proper world building and good character names, RQ fills all of those fr me<3
