When you're Claiming a parent on the Parent claim does this mean you have to create the parent before you create the OC?
So, what kind of characters can we RP here? Is it just a mix of different fandoms/fairytales/fantasy things? I'm unsure of where to start on my OC
Elizabeth C. wrote: "Yeah! Parents can be Disney, any fairy tale that isn't disney, any fairy tale book..."Cool! Thanks! =D They could be anything Disney? Animated, live-action, Marvel, Star Wars, etc.?
Yep! So far two of the three parents I claimed are Marvel :) And someone else has a Marvel, too, and my other one is from POTC, so I think you should be good!
What about mythology? Is that included here as well? I know that there are children of Hades that exist, but I just want to make sure before I create an OC. Also, is there a limit on how many OCs we can have?
6 OCs for now! And I think it's okay? I'd double check with Leena since she created the group just to be safe, but I would think so

Great thanks! You are both so incredibly kind and helpful! =D
Hi, so I was curious would it be possible to have a terrace, basically a green space for students to hangout outside.
Elizabeth C. wrote: "Yes you have to claim a parent."I have a question regarding that:
Is there a reason as to why it's an obligation? I really don't understand the obligation when the character isn't related to anything canon, especially I only have two characters capable of being children of canon characters. I don't want to bring either in. They're great and all, but I'm not in the mood for them, y'know? Any characters I make under this confusing obligation would have to match the canon character in some form, and that takes more than half of my ideas out of the window. This obligation greatly restricts my creativity, which is extremely difficult to come by nowadays. If I estimate correctly, it would possibly take around nine months to actually get the motivation to even start on a character. I need freedom.
Off topic now. What is the minimum requirement of sentences or lines for:
- Personality
- Appearance
- History
@Birdsong The reason is that this is what this RP is built around. Fairy tales, whimsical stories, myths, legends. It's the whole reason we have this RP.At least one paragraph for Personality
If you have a picture of your OC then you don't have to go into as much detail for Appearance, if you do not, then a paragraph
History is at least 2-3 paragraphs.
Hhhhh... I suppose I can try, but it still doesn't make any sense to me. I suppose I could attempt to make myself see it as a inspiration type thing, which I occasionally do.
What would you like for them? Also if they're complete, can you put them in the finished students thread so they can be approved? And just make sure to include history, 2 paragraphs of 3-5 sentenced at least.
Oh yeah you can, I was just waiting until you had characters, that's all. But I should have said that, but sure I'll make one
Ahh, ok! I like to make my characters inside my character thread so I can have my own space to spam myself and not the original workshop thread. ;u;
》Xavier《 wrote: "Where would I put my character if they’re nonbinary?"Whoever you're most comfortable with :3 Unless you want a separate thread altogether.
This really doesn't belong here, but could I get a response in parental claims? And suggest that request threads that need moderator approval to have some attention? I'm not a fan of how I had to ask here to get attention for my character thread request...
could we add like a lounge on campus? or something like that?
hi! um, when we're done with making a character, do we put it in the students (finished thread)? or is there another thread we should put our ready to be approved characters?
Hi! I wanted to ask if it's possible to create a student who's seemingly a teen but in reality is let's say 300 or sth. Or is 18~19 the oldest age characters can be? Thanks!
Do we have to use characters from fairy tales, mythologies or Disney for parents? I was thinking of using some characters from the Stormlight Archive.
