Everly Parker and Lara meet, bond and secretly plan a rendezvous with Deep Throat. Was this plausible or consistent with something Everly would do on her own?

Everly is a very take charge person, it's entirely probable that she and Lara would meet, bond and set their own plan in motion. It was a good plan, but I don't think they thought through everything that could go wrong.

The ease with which Everly and Lara bond and conspire to meet was a bit strange, but I enjoyed their interactions and the action.

I wasn’t buying their bonding so quickly, at first. But then I realized they are sort of cut from the same cloth. If I recall, Everly had some TSTL moments in the first book. Both are driven by a strong sense of right and wrong so it started to make more sense.

I was suspicious of the quick friendship. They were both too willing to share secrets. It didn't make sense to me.

She absolutely does and this plan of theirs was definitely too TSTL for words.

At first, I thought that Everly was just stringing Lara along.
