The Midnight Readers discussion

A group of my friends read this and we all thought it was one of the best books we have read this year. It was a very interesting story and had some twists and turns and literally had me talking to the book out loud. The end was a shock as well.

I would love to hear others' thoughts on the book and your thoughts on the movie adaptation.

I loved the book soooo much but I haven't watched the movie yet.

How much did the ending shock you?

None of us really saw it coming, we said. I am pretty good at predicting endings but I haven't read thrillers a lot so I was pretty surprised honestly. Did it not shock you?

I just finished the book a day ago and the ending shocked me so much! I can usually predict twists but I didn’t predict that one! I watched the movie today and it was meh. Maybe because I just finished reading the book and it’s fresh in my mind but the book was a lot better in my opinion!

Have you watched the movie Megan?

I loved the movie, want to read the book.

But the movie was a little slow
