I did not know what to expect but I thoroughly really enjoyed this book.
If you like fantasy and sci-fi then this is definitely for you. It is based around the character Mare Barrow who lives in a world divided by blood. Silvers who are people with silver blood and gifted abilities live higher end. They are the ones to fear. Reds, like Mare Barrow, have no powers and live under the Silvers. They serve them and fear them. Made to fear them by the Silver King as he sees them as just servants and not important as they have no powers. People to not fear until the Red Guard, a rebellion group of Reds start attacking and Mare Barrows world turns upside down when she discovers she has abilities, and her blood is still Red.
In a tale of adventure and war, you will never be bored. Highly recommend.
