Ollie x Rowan

He had double checked the room number, and was confident he was in the right place.
One bag slung over his shoulder, Rowan looked around the room--they were spacious and very nice, and most of his luggage already sat on one of the beds, so he assumed that one would be his.
With a sigh, he walked over and set his bag down on the ground and proceeded to begin to unpack, same routine as he had done last year. Last year, his roommate had fallen ill near the end of the year, and he had told Rowan over the summer he wouldn't be returning.
It was a pity, because Rowan had enjoyed his company, had even had a crush on his roommate, and had been secretly hoping it would go somewhere this year.
So much for that, he supposed, and flipped up the lid to his suitcase. He just had to hope him roommate--Ollie, was it?--was at least tolerable and didn't snore.

Ollie went back to the hall he was originally walking down and found his dorm fairly easily. He had a roommate named Rowan, he hoped the dude wasn’t a total idiot. Ollie was honestly hoping to have someone to go to parties with and pick up girls with. He opened the door to find his roommate was already there. “You Rowan?” He asked bluntly as he shut the door. He went to his bed, it had his stuff on it, so he knew it was his. “I’m Ollie,” He introduced himself as he turned to face the guy, he sized him up. Rowan looked nice, too nice. Ollie felt himself get let down because of this, he didn’t need to be rooming with a goody too shoes. He wanted to party all semester and sneak girls into his room.

((Oh that's so true lol))

Who was his roommate? First he had blood and shirt and now...what? Now what? He had zero idea, but something about him made him uncomfortable. With a sigh, he slowly dipped his head and went back to reading.

Ollie took his time in the shower, sticking his finger in the wound that was healing, he dug the bullet out, it hurt like hell. He ground his teeth and breathed really deep as he dug it out. He would probably have a scar from that one. Maybe. He didn’t usually scar, so it would be interesting if he had one. Ollie took his soap and lathered up before rinsing, he slung his towel around his hips and went to the sinks. Ollie brushed his teeth and combed his hair, taking his time in getting ready to head back to the dorm. He didn’t need the doe eyed roommate asking a bunch of questions he had no intention on answering. He got his clothes on, and packed up his stuff to head back to the room. He passed a few people in the hall, but didn’t say hello to anyone. He nudged the door to his room back open and kicked it shut gently. Rowan was reading a book, what a nerd. “Hey,” He said while going to his side and putting his things away. “What are you reading?”

“Yeah ya know, the opposite sex, girls?” Ollie said when he asked, ‘girls?’ He watched as Rowan went through his entire thought process aloud, amused that the other guy had to walk through his entire life to get to the point that he had dated one girl. “One girl? In your entire life? Your mom and sister don’t count as girls, they’re family,” He added the last bit to make sure he never counted them as girls again. “I’m not exactly confused as to why she fought me, I mean I was being an ass and I kind of got all up in her business. But why is she so damn violent? Like I tried being nice, well my version and she shot me bro.”

"You don't have to be sarcastic, I was just processing," he stated, and then shrugged. "Yes, one girl. I've dated a guy before, too, but one girl. Plus, why would my mom and sister not count? I see how they act, and they are girls. Family or not, they're girls." He paused, and his eyes widened. "She what?! She shot you? She has a gun free range on campus?" Rowan had a bow and a few quivers, but he didn't go around carrying them to hallways! "But it sounds like you really did antagonize her. Shouldn't you know not to get in people's business like that? Look, I'm just saying you were both in the wrong here. She shouldn't have shot you, but you should have left her alone the first time she asked. By an ass do you mean you were flirting with her? Or were you trying to get in her? Because if it was the latter, I'd shoot you too," Rowan stated calmly.

Ollie knew that he’d just met her, but she’d gotten under his skin. “Okay, lets say we forget about her right now? But then what if I run into her again? Do I just ignore her?” He thought about everything Rowan had said thus far, “Yes, yes I should.” Ollie wanted to perk her interest, but not in a negative way, so he was going to be oblivious of her for now. “Okay dude, lets forget about girls for a while, do you want to play a video game?”

"I think that's a good idea--forgetting about her, and yes, ignoring her if you see her again, because she's either going to ignore you or act angry, so just ignore her. She hates you, I think it's for the best." Rowan slowly nodded. "Sure, what do you have? I'm not super great at some, I don't play a lot."

He nodded at his roommate. "Hey, thanks for the video games last night, that was fun," he commented, sitting at his desk as he made a schedule for what he wanted or needed to do that day.

"I have some classes too, but I hear there's a party going on later... maybe?" He'd someone tag a party that went to the school, so he was planning on jumping on that. "I'm thinking that girl might be there, it would be nice to have you there too," He admitted, Ollie honestly didn't trust himself around girls in general at the moment.

Ollie was excited that Rowan was willing to go too. The party would be epic, he had a feeling. And if the girl was there, well he would just ignore her. Who said they had to say anything to each other? They could mature and ignore one another, right? “Should we bring beer? I mean I know it’s a party, but shouldn’t we bring something? Seems polite.” Ollie was usually anything but polite, but he wanted to make sure there would be booze there. He wanted to get wasted, though he wasn’t going to tell Rowan that part.

"Maybe! Though who did you say is holding it? Do you know if they have any already?" Rowan then paused at the question. "Hey wait a second, you have a beer in the room?" He quirked an eyebrow, uncertain about how he felt in this situation.

"I'm not sure, the user name was C something, I didn't exactly see who the user was, I wasn't paying attention. I can try to look it up again if you want," Ollie rose both brows at Rowans question, "Who doesn't have beer hidden in their bags?" He was quite perplexed with the thought of someone not sneaking in booze, wasn't that normal? Rowan was an interesting guy, he didn't treat girls the way Ollie did, he apparently didn't keep beer around. What did this guy do for fun? Maybe Ollie could show him how to have a fun time at the party!

"Oh, okay. Nah, it's fine, I just hope it's an okay party and nothing too insane happens," he replied. "Uh, me. I don't have that in my bags." He stared at the genuinely confused look on Ollie's face. His roommate was so, so different than him it was almost hilarious if Rowan hadn't been so concerned with what those differences were.
