Greg | 363 comments Some of you may already be aware of it, but I thought I'd post about a new dark fantasy magazine that started earlier this year called The Common Tongue . I've set up a series page for it here if anyone is interested in checking out/tracking individual issues. Disclaimer: I'm one of the slush readers there at the moment.

Looks like a shared-universe focus.

Yes it does use a shared world but, as per its submission guidelines for fiction:

"We are interested in fantasy with a dark theme. We accept both works set in our Athuruin Shared Universe as well as original work in an original setting" (my italics).

So if you have a story that you think might fit a dark and high fantasy theme (which I think would be right up your street, Seth), then why not give The Common Tongue a shot?
