i have a question, what should i do if my parents dont approve of people changing their gender but i sort of thinking about becoming a boy. what do i do?

i've heard stories of people doing what feels best for them, even though their parents don't approve. some people just cut off all communication with their parents, cause it's detrimental to who they are, trans or being gay or whatever. If you feel that's who you are, then that's great. you're brave for admitting it. i'm sorry your parents may not approve, i know how hard that can be. there will be people who do approve (like me, lol) and some who don't. be who you are, and who you wanna be. maybe tell them when it's a good time, and don't rush it. remember they will have their own thoughts and feelings about it as well. don't (if they are negative about it) listen to that, and tell them this is who you are, and if they can't accept, don't change simply because of them. be who YOU want to be, not who others (parents) want you to be. That was some great advice! Parents have the choice to support or to not support it seems, though they should not because you are their child and no matter what you do in life, as long as it's not hurting you and makes you happy, they should support it all the way!! I'm sorry they don't and I'd do exactly as Kirstin here suggested. Maybe if you do what makes you happy, your parents will see and take it upon themselves to put that aside and be there for you. If not, maybe it is for the best. I hope you are able to make the best of it and be who you believe and want to be!
