Christopher walked in and flopped on his bed. He groaned. His sister has been blowing up his phone and it was getting annoying.

The door opened, and Cole walked inside after he has finished speaking to Bailee in the cafeteria. He beelined for his bed but froze when he saw that one of his roommates was in.
He arched an eyebrow. "Well, hello," he greeted. He didn't know if this was Christopher or Klaus.

Chris sat up."Hey" he nodded at him. "Which one are you?"

"Cole," he stated with a nod. "How about you? I certainly wasn't expecting two roommates but hey, more fun I guess?"

"Yeah. Christopher. So that means Klaus isn't here yet" he stood up, and started to put away the stuff in his duffel.

"Yeah." He looked around the room; he'd been in here once to make sure his stuff was placed inside, but he hadn't put anything away yet. "Where are you from?" He asked as he unzipped his suitcase and began pulling out clothes.

"Around" he said, not wanting to give away any personal information.

Cole considered, and then shrugged. "Fair enough." His roommate didn't seem super chatty, and while it disappointed Cole that he didn't seem like someone he could go out and party with, at least he could respect the desire to not say anymore than he had to.

"What about you?" Chris asked him.

"Depends, I've moved a lot," Cole answered, giving up on order and dumping all his clothes in one huge pile on his bed to sort through. "Born in New York city, though."

"Cool, I'm not really a city person honestly."

"I like them--full of people." He turned. "You more of a country person?"

He shrugged. "I'm not a people person either, unlike my sis. As for the country part, not really."

"You got a sister? And huh, interesting--I like people sometimes, depends on who they are. Any authority figure? No."

"Yeah, she's a pain in the butt though, don't tell her but I'm trying to sell her." he grinned. "And I completely agree with the authority people part"

Cole snorted. "Good luck with that, I won't say anything." He smiled at his roommate's grin, glad to see it. "Right?! They're always so high-horse, thinking they're so important and breathing down our necks." He rolled his eyes.

"Completely. Forcing us to do crappy jobs, complaining when we don't do it right, mentally tearing us down. The list can go on and on"

"It can! And holding us to standards and only caring about people who are wealthy. It really can." He shook his head.

"Yeah. Totally horrible" Chris said, remembering the chores he was forced to do. He still had all those scars.

Cole was curious why his roommate hated authority, too, but he didn't push. There were things he didn't like talking about, either, and it was enough that both of them disliked people in charge. Maybe they'd get along after all.
"Agreed." He pushed through his clothes pile and started folding.

He pulled out a few framed pictures of himself and his sister. Chris sat them on the night stand by his bed.

Cole's blue eyes drifted to his roommate's pictures, and he quickly turned away from them, coming to guess that the girl was Chris's sister.
He hadn't brought any family pictures, and he realized now how weird that may be.

"Valerie" he explained. "The bane of my existence."

"That's your sister?"

"Yep. Twin to be exact." he rolled his eyes. "She definitely has a sharp tongue and starts fights. Shes the reason I have no nerves left. She got on my last one years ago"

"Twin? Wow, that must be interesting. Starts fights?" Cole raised an eyebrow. "Interesting."

"Yeah." A text popped up. "It appears you will be able to meet her in a minute." he closed his eyes, "She's coming....."

"Oh, well okay." He grinned. Time to flirt.

Valerie knocked on the door one and walked right in.

Cole glanced up and smiled, his most charming, winning grin. Finally, someone not from home around here. "Hi," he greeted holding out a hand. I'm Cole."

(Klaus is going to have a helluva time)

"Valerie" she said simply, shaking his hand.

Chris grinned through gritter teeth. "Hi sis"

"Hey little bro"

Cole frowned; she didn't seem super receptive, either. My gosh, the girls at this school were annoying! Back home they'd fall over themselves just to touch his arm.
And with Chris in the room, well, Cole didn't know if he had powers or not, and he didn't really want to find out the hard way by trying to flirt with his sister.
Cole was ridiculously strong, but that didn't mean magic didn't work on him.
He nodded to Valerie and went for something anyway. "Can I help you with something?" He asked in a flirtatious way. "Are you lost? Or looking for a dinner date?"

Valerie roller her eyes. "Please. You are the second person of the male gender to ask me that today." Although, the boys here were kinda maybe cute. Not that she would ever admit thinking so.

Christopher looked at Cole. "Dinner date? Really?" He mouthed him. He looked back at Val. "Who asked you?"

"I dunno" she replied honestly. She had an idea who he might be though. She'd heard rumors about a guy, fitting this one's personality.

Cole shrugged. "Hey I don't know. Dinner dates can be nice." He stuffed his hands in his pockets and sighed.

"Besides," she added. "I don't go on dates with people I met 3 minutes ago"

Now it was Chris's turn to roll his eyes. "Yeah, right."

((nah he's gonna leave here and then I'm going to pretend he's going to the commons))

Cole laughed. "Fair enough. Well,* he stated with a bow at Val, "I'll see you around." And he left the siblings be, heading off.

"Yeah, a'right" Chris replied. "See ya." He turn toward his sister. "Why exactly are you here?"

"No reason." she answered grinning. "I should go now also" She walked out the door not bothering saying bye or shutting it.

Christopher groaned, shutting the door. He sat down on the bed, thoughts running through his head.

Klaus wondered down the halls, his mind on Kataera, the girl he’d met only moments before. I don’t think I should rush things with her, but it would be fun to take her out one night or something. I hope she doesn’t think I’m an idiot or something. Do girls think like this? I wonder how my roommates are. Hopefully they’re cool, if not then that’ll suck, He thought to himself as he walked. It was weird that he had met a girl on the first day of this year but hadn’t picked up one at all the year before. Klaus finally came to the right door, or he hoped it was. He took out his key and tried the lock, it worked. He went inside and looked around, “Hello?” he called as he walked in. If neither of his roommates were there then he’d just settle in and wait for them to show up.

Cole was not inside yet; but about five minutes after Klaus entered, he opened the door and headed towards his bed, where his boxes were still stacked, as he had gotten carried away last night and hadn't slept in the room.
He saw someone, probably his other roommate, standing inside. "Uh, hey?" He asked. "Are you our third roommate?"

Klaus went to the only bed that looked empty and sat down, he then eyed his things at the end of the bed. “Alright,” he said aloud, to a seemingly empty room. He got up to start unpacking his things, he was just starting to put away some undershirts when some guy came in, he looked tired. “Hey, yeah I’m Klaus…” he said way of greeting. Klaus was a good guy at heart, but he was more self-conscious than he liked to admit. So he didn’t further the conversation, yet. He was going to see how his roommate reacted and then go from there.

"Cole," Cole stated in form of a greeting and walked over to his stuff. He began to unpack slowly. "Nice to meet you," he added as he dumped a whole suitcase of clothes out over his bed.

"Chris" he called from facedown on his bed. He sat up and waved slightly.

Cole looked at Chris, tempted to ask where that lovely sister of his went, but he didn't say it. Something about it didn't feel right anymore.
