Andy | 3 comments From the look of most threads on this site, you're going to get a lot of bots as friends :P

Alex (alexgmcm) | 3 comments Why is it so overrun by bots? :(

But feel free to add me.

Andy | 3 comments I'll follow you Alex - I assume Amazon just isn't that interested in investing in this platform so Goodreads don't have the tools to tackle the bot-swarms.

A (seekingsatori) | 1 comments Funny, I was just looking at this (my only community on Goodreads) the other day and I thought “gosh, this looks dead, how do I leave on the app?”
Hi y’all hope you’ve read some good books so far this year

Queralt✨ (qyeranbbang) | 2 comments I have to say I always find it funny that Amazon decided to 'invest' in buying Goodreads but hasn't found it interesting enough to fix the platform. It's not only the bot swarms, but the notification bugs and the app...

Like, seriously, every day I'm like "how do I do this or that on the app?" lol

Queralt✨ (qyeranbbang) | 2 comments They have been testing a new 'book page' on the PC website, which makes me sliiiightly optimistic that things will get somewhat fixed/better - if this goes beyond an aesthetic change, of course.

I've seen people moving away from GR and switching to a new platform (I forgot the name), but I'm used to this one. Not only notifications as you mention @Vincent, but I love the yearly challenge, it always keeps me motivated. But still, fingers crossed that Amazon will consider improving the site.

Andy | 3 comments I just hope a redesign doesn't make the site more awkward to use than it already is. You see with sites like reddit and facebook how they try to make more "mobile friendly" app-like layouts that just feel wrong on desktop.
