Giovonni It took me a month or two to read this, but I enjoyed every day that I read it. Seeing each Greek and Roman poet's view on each piece of mythology involving Greek and Roman mythology, gave me a new perspective on each mythological god and creature. I really loved the Norse mythology as well, hearing about Thor, Odin, and the Yggdrasil. It helps me know more about my Norse ancestry and the old Norse of before, and how they thought. However, there is a reason why I'm giving the book four stars.

I wished that there were more stories to tell, and more mythologies from other cultures. Had there been more, I would have wanted to keep reading it. Other than that, everything is fine and dandy. I recommend this to new non-fiction readers in the hopes that they will take a liking to mythology, and in the thought that they will love hearing about the gods and what they did and what shameful things they’ve done. Hopefully, they do take a liking, and will try to read more from other cultures. Overall, this is a great book for new readers, and I would suggest that they remember which paragraph or sentence they’re on, once they start reading, because bookmarks only help you remember the page.
