Play Book Tag discussion

I was so hopeful that this book would be a return to form for Jackson, and it started out that way and stayed that way for a long time. I don't want or expect Jackson to stay in a formula, but what happened with this book was that she had a message she wanted to deliver and ultimately, I felt like that message got in the way of what was shaping up to be a really good and original story.

Alas ....

We alternated between current day and flashes back to the past, which seemed superfluous for most of the book. A lot of disbelief had to be suspected in this tale of revenge, and how far would a mother go to 1. save her child 2. avenge her child.

Moderately entertaining, but not enthusiastically recommended.
