Whimsical Academy discussion

(Hope you don't mind this, you can have them engage or not either works)
Kataera slowed herself, her pawed feet felt like they were still moving, her cheeks were a bit red and she could feel the buzz. It was all the adrenaline running through her, and it made her feel alive every time she pushed herself. Her full potential in speed was impossible on the time field, but a sprint or long distance was always welcomed in her book.
Sitting down she stretched out, and tried to get out any knots that had formed in her legs, by grabbing a rock from the grass and moving it over her body. It was relaxing and the day was faring out well, she had meet both roommates the day before and had met Klaus. He seemed like a good person and he was kinda cute, both in appearance and way he acted.

She sat up, and threw the rock to the other side of the field and watched it roll once or twice. Getting up fully since she wasn't comfortable in the position she was sitting, Kataera flexed her paws on the grass watching it pull out from the ground.
She walked around, mostly watching students from a distance. She new one or two of the people she saw but very few of them were people she had talked to. Kataera wasn't big on chatting, but she likes small talk since it was short and sweet.

She decided to head back to her dorm, making sure everything was going smoothly. It would be also cooler inside and Kataera was definitely warm from the hot sun beating down on her fur. She ran, her pace a sprint as she made her way across the field without needing to think about how to pace herself.

Kataera sat in the grass of the school limits, her entire body warm the the sun coming up slowly over the hills. She couldn't be happier, someone wanted to race her, Kataera knew her species liked to race. It was a sign of dominance, so being party wild Kataera was all for it.

"Morning," Kataera replied, she smiled. "Ready to see what the fastest creature alive can do?" she boasted.
It wasn't like she was lying, she sat up and looked at the places she would be running from a distance. She took a breath breath of morning air, and thought of running.

"Perhaps, but I'm right," she said, and shook her head, "Not yet," she states.
Kataera stretched, it looked more like a lioness waking from a nap, but she was ready in moments.
"When ever your ready," Kataera said.

"I won't be surprised when I win, I always win the race," she says, "And yes, I'm done," she states.
Kataera got into position her hands on the ground and her claws unsheathed, her hair braided back and her ear to the sides of her face. Her tail twitched from side to side,
"You ready?" she asked again.

"I'm far from it," she says, "I not really a human," she adds.
Crouching down as push as possible, she would need to have a good sprint to get to the speed of sound, even then she would still be faster just running at a normal pace.
"On three," she states, "One..." Kataera began counting.

Kataera pushed off, and started to run, her arms pulled up to her chest and her paws and legs did the work. She was fast, and was easily pulling ahead, getting faster the more she ran. When they had to turn a corner she swung her tail out and it helped her turn without trouble.

Kataera continued to faster, Zushenian's were the fastest creatures alive, and would boast about their speed to each other. It was a symbol of power to them. Kataera saw a tree near the next corner she needed to turn, so holding out her arms she grabbed the tree and used it to help her turn. The only struggle with a Zushenian they needed help from their tails to turn at the speeds they traveled.

The different with humans and Zushenian's was the size of their lungs, Kataera's lungs and heart where enormous and it helped her not lose breathe. She was still able to breath normally and wasn't feeling side affects. The finish line was about a running track distance ahead, a sprint. Kataera pushed once more and was at the finished line faster then the speed of sound.

Kataera punched the air, "Woooo!"
She was jumping around, all giddy, and her eyes were thin. The hair on her lower half's back was up and she was hyper, it was the after effects of adrenaline. Kataera was acting like a child, which was more like a kitten in her case.

"Like I said, I'm a Zushenian," she boasted, "We are the fastest living spieces alive," she said.
Kataera was rolled around in the grass, side affects of young Zushenian's running at the speed of sound was extreme hyper activity and that they would become reckless. But all young Zushenian's agreed it was the best part. Kataera also wasn't panting, which was something you'd expect for something that ran so fast.

"Oh I thought I did," she giggled, Kataera wasn't in a fully stable mind, so it wasn't strange that she said something that she thought happened.
"Yeah.." Kataera lay on the grass and fell asleep, when she became fully grown she wouldn't be all giddy then fall asleep.
After 10 minutes Kataera sat up, she stretched and smiled at Alya.
"Sorry if that was strange," the Zushenian was clearly in a calmer, but still alert, basically the way she was before the race.

Kataera sat down in the grass,
"Yes, and yourself?" "If you want I can explain what a Zushenian is?" she said.
Kataera had her lower half in the sun and her upper half in the shade of a tree, it was the best way to lounge in her opinion.

"Alright," "So Zushenian's are humans, who's lowerhalfs are that of a lion, their ears, tongue, eyes, smell and diet are that of a lion as well," she said, "We live in groups called tribes or prides, and are able to run very quickly."
Kataera was a bit ashamed of what she was about to say but felt truth was always best,
"I don't know anything else really since, I was separated from my parents when I was a cub, then found my by grandfather Chiron." she explained. "I could always see if he knows more if you want?"

But she couldn't blame her, and her heart went out to her. "I'm really sorry...I was separated from mine as well when I was little," she told her.

Kataera ran over and put her arms around Alya,
"I think we will be great friends," she said.
It wasn't a surprise that Kataera had a strong and motherly hug, she let go and apologized, smiling.

Kataera smiled and again, the Zushenian already had three friends. Klaus, Sasha and Alya, which was more then all her 4 years in the academy. It was wonderful!
"Awesome," "Anyway, I'm going to get breakfast," she said, and ran off.
Kataera was already running, again, towards the cafeteria.

Bailee was tired but she knew she had to stay in shape. Her relationship with Josiah had taken a turn and she didnt know if she agreed with it or not. She definitely wanted to be with him its just she must not be ready for a full on relationship. She decided that running was her only pption to keep him out of her head.

Bailee wasnt payong attwntion to anything other than the blasting music that is was in her ears. The music had calmed her down a bit but the head ache that she had suppressed with pain meds was beginning to reappear. The music may be helping calm her nerves but it was only making her head ache worse. She was running in a black sports bra and black ypga pants. Sweat dripped down her body as she worked herself more than she probably should.

She stopped and turned around at the slight tap against her shoulder, "Huh?" then she realized that she still had her earbuds in so she took them out. "What?" she asked, hiding her so out of breathness. She held each fast-paced breath and only released it when it calmed itself down.

"Nothing. Just saying hi, and by the way, you're going way too hard on yourself." Cole wondered if she looked a little frustrated. Maybe he shouldn't have stopped her running. "I certainly hope your life is going better than my life is right now."
"How would I know? My life sucks and my boyfriend made some moves I don't really appreciate, life sucks sometimes." she said pausing to let out a breath. "And im not pushing myself to hard," she added with a tone. She really did want to talk with someone, but she honestly didnt know if that was the right choice.

Bailee smirked, "Looks like you have been busy with Sasha, isnt it?" she cooed. "Ill get water in a bit, I need to finish my run, want to run with me?" she asked, tying her hair into a tight ponytail at the back of her head.

"I guess we have the same problems," she muttered. "Well we better get on with it then," she said, popping on air pod into her ear and the other into her pocket. She tugged one last time on her hair making sure it was tight and she began to jog.
