These all are the same author. We should combine them.

Victor Erofeyev — this one is most relevant by description and list of books, and could be used as an original. But his name is spelled wrong. His correct name is "Viktor Yerofeyev" in English (according to wikipedia), Виктор Ерофеев in russian.

Some books of that authors (e.g. Русская красавица: Роман. Рассказы.) have two or more variants of the same author in their description. After combining I hope this will be fixed.

I also wondered, why the portrait of author dissapeared at https://www.goodreads.com/author/show... disappeared. It existed before.

Maybe it was deleted for copyright purposes. So, we can use this one, from Wikipedia, it is under Creative Commons License.

More specifically, we cannot use images under Creative Commons licensing. Goodreads is not set up to comply with Creative Commons licensing requirements. Some photos on Wikipedia (primarily of authors who have been deceased for several decades or longer) are in the public domain, and those we can use.

As far as the author names, we do not merge author names in different languages, but they can be linked. Please see: https://help.goodreads.com/s/article/... (See: Authors published in multiple languages)
Authors with books published in multiple languages should have their names dealt with similarly to those with pen names. All editions should have the primary author name as the standard or most common Roman (that is, English-language) version of the author's name. Editions published under another spelling of the name or the name in another language should have that name listed as the secondary author. Different editions of a book not having the same primary author can cause quite a few distinct problems. Please keep the primary author for all editions of a work the same.

Wikipedia also says that his last name can be transliterated as Erofeyev. All English covers here on GR that I checked have Victor Erofeyev as author name on the cover, so that would be why that profile has been chosen as the primary profile for this author.

I'm working on cleaning up this author, and the various profiles, adding Victor Erofeyev as primary author on all editions, and when there is a different name on the cover, adding that one as secondary author.
I'm also added a link to the main author profile in the description of each valid alternate author profile.

ETA: I think I've done them all. Also cleaned up the editions where there had been a merge of author profiles previously against policy, resulting in editions having the English version twice on the book page.
Also combined some editions/translations.
