Hi.

Can someone please make this version of this book entitled Islam dan Demokrasi the primary edition instead of other previous editions?

Goodreads Librarians cannot manually change the primary edition of a work. That can be done by the author, but they do not appear to have claimed their Goodreads author profile.

About the author info, may I know what are the steps to edit it (profile picture, brief information, etc)? Thank you.

We can only add an author photo that is either in the public domain (quite uncommon for a living author), or one that you own the copyright to.

But we can add a brief bio, if you would like to provide one.

Dato' Seri Tuan Guru Haji Abdul Hadi Awang (Ayah Chik) mendapat pendidikan awal di Rusila, Marang sebelum menjejakkan kaki ke Sekolah Agama Marang. Kemudian, beliau melanjutkan pelajaran ke peringkat menengah di Sekolah Agama Sultan Zainal Abidin, Kuala Terengganu. Beliau menerima pendidikan agama, bahasa Arab, dan politik daripada ayahandanya sendiri, iaitu Tuan Guru Haji Awang Muhammad yang bertugas sebagai guru agama dan imam di Masjid Rusila.

Selepas itu, Ayah Chik melanjutkan pelajaran ke Universiti Islam Madinah, Arab Saudi pada tahun 1969–1973 dan berjaya memperoleh Ijazah BA Syariah. Seterusnya, beliau berhasil menggenggam Ijazah MA di Universiti al-Azhar, Mesir dalam pengkhususan Siyasah Syar‘iyyah selepas berjaya menamatkannya dalam tempoh dua tahun, iaitu dari tahun 1974–1975.

Di samping itu, Ayah Chik juga telah memperoleh Ijazah Sanad daripada Syeikh Muhammad Yasin al-Fadani pada tahun 1983. Beliau istiqamah mengajar di Masjid Rusila, Marang dan telah mengkhatamkan pengajian Tafsir al-Quran sebanyak dua kali dalam tempoh 40 tahun, bermula dari tahun 1976 sehingga kini.

Downloading the problematic photo to another site does not help. Again, unless you are able to provide a photo that you own the copyright to (or that you can document is in the public domain), we will not be able to add one to the author's profile.

No, I don't. That is truly my own photo. I just uploaded it on Imgur so that you can use it. The photo from Wikipedia before is also from the same source of our team's gallery and collection of the author's photos.

My question is, how could I prove to you that I own the copyright of the photo?

I'm currently serving as an Editor at Pustaka Permata Ummah Sdn Bhd, a book publisher which is responsible for publishing the author's books.

Under our team, we have collections of photos, videos, audios, etc of the author which we keep all in our archive storage.
