I read A Fall of Marigolds because a librarian friend gave me the book and when I finished I just had to find another of her books to read immediately because I loved it so much! The Last Year of the War was the second one and I loved it equally as much! These two books are both written in dual time periods which I found fascinating. I highly recommend this author for historical fiction if you haven't read any of hers.

I read Last Year of the War and also loved it. I haven't read any of her other books yet, but have her on my TBR list
I’m currently reading The Nature of Fragile Things (sorry…I don’t know how to link) and I am loving it. I’m not an avid reader and this is my first fiction book in years. What a pleasant way to get back on the wagon. Her words flow as smooth as silk without extra flowery.
