recent+semi recent highlights from my studio art class!
2pt perspective room (unfinished); day 2 of our perspective unit, our class ran out of time
3pt perspective building exterior + interior thumbnails. the finished copy looks very different, and I'm proud of how it and the interior came out! (unfortunately I have no pics of those because we aren't allowed to take them home)
sketches from today of two spindles (line+ink unit) done to help me figure out the composition of my inked piece
and finally, here are the two I was drawing! I moved them around to try and create more interesting pieces that would work better. The one on top has a chip mark in it's edge, meaning it probably wouldn't make for a very good spindle, but I love them anyways

I finished the stippling assignment!!! I had to redo my composition bc my execution last time wasn't super successful, but I actually really like how this one ended up coming out!!
I was having trouble making small dots with my pen, but I borrowed a smaller pen and that helped me figure it out :)
and so like, lesson of the day or week or whatever, stippling is. the kind of thing you do need small dots for, if you ever have to do this???
