Yay, this is my first time doing this, but I have exactly one exchange under my belt from last Christmas, so I look forward to having some summer fun.

I was gifted a bonanza of books all at once! Cinnamon Sprinkles (heehee) got me a book I just added to my list because I'd read one further along in the series and decided I wanted to try out some other stories. CS also got me which for some reason Amazon wouldn't let me redeem (bizarre) but I was able to convert it into a gift card and bought it directly. I enjoy these authors and the story seems pleasantly turbulent. Thirdly I was gifted the idea of which I am fairly certain I stole from someone else's wishlist. I collect ideas, y'all have good ones. And finally a popular classic M/M I just haven't gotten around to yet. Whoo! I'm set!

I really got spoiled the first I joined, Dec. of 2019 I think. I had a great Santa and the person I bought got had ebooks on their list. It was so smooth. I love to make people’s day. Just a couple dollar book can cheer someone up! I hope my person can fix things so I can spread some cheer their way❤️

It looks like my secret Santa tried sending me a gift this morning but unfortunately when I clicked to retrieve the gift a message saying, "We're having trouble locating your redemption" popped up.

Thanks, secret Santa, for another book, Handle with Care, by Josephine Miles!! You’re spoiling me! I also received your book yesterday, the Fireman and the Cop! I was unable to retrieve the book yesterday or the one today, as Amazon has that notice: We're having trouble locating your redemption-when info to retrieve it. I see someone else got that message, as well, so it seems to be an Amazon thing. I called Amazon yesterday and they just put the price of the book onto A Gift card and I bought it myself. I’m probably going to have to Do that again, as much as I LOVE talking to Amazon!

Thought I’d post this in case anyone else is having this issue!

Ok. Spoke to Amazon. They ARE having issues. They said one has to redeem their gifts via desktop/laptop and not a phone/Kindle.

And they weren’t nice about it, either 😡

Thanks for the info! I was able to claim my gifts once I switched to desktop mode.

Yes! Once you do that it allows you to accept the gift.

I thought I was the only one having issues with the redemption code. They did the same for me after 2 days, they just put the cost of the book on my account and I bought it myself. Hopefully they'll fix the issue.
It wasn't great working with them, they didn't seem to understand I didn't know the person sending me the gift and kept wanting me to give them my sender's name.
