Kim enters the room just as Bryant is stabbed and tries desperately to save him, losing all emotional control. Later at his bedside, Bryant still doesn’t let her off the hook even after her emotional display earlier. He gets her to admit the reason for her debilitating guilt over Kev’s death. Were you surprised at both his relentlessness and her revelation? Your insights about their relationship?

I wasn't surprised that Bryant made Kim admit what was going on in her head. He is her touchstone. He needed her to talk about it not just for Kim but for Bryant too. He has a hard time dealing with Kim cutting him out. The tension but their personal and professional relationship off.

Bryant is a special person in her life who she can share her "feelings" with. Even Ted and Bryant's wife knows how important Bryant is to Kim's sanity.

Well said, Sharon. It’s what I surmised, too. Great point about how Ted and Bryant’s wife both know how important he is to Kim! I really don’t think she could manage losing him.
