"Looks like a great read, Leslie. Will check it out this summer.
This is such a charming book for kids and (pre)teens - and every human from age 6+.
It helped my step kids (boy 15 and girl 12) with ADHD and PTSD, and supported their mental health and self love immensely with loving and cosy Visualisations!

What Dumbass Doctors Tell You: A Patient’s PerspectiveEasy read, inexpensive (ebook format), nonfiction. Creative non-fiction, self-help book.
Educate yourself, raise your raise, because no one knows your body like you do.
This nonfiction, inexpensive, easy to read, heart of the matter book about breast cancer plays on your emotions, some humor, some sadness, some seriousness, and leaving to the question of how can this be? Great for any patient with breast cancer, chronic illness, or those wanting answers from doctors. A strong-willed main character who advocates for medical answers. This book can serve as an informational reference guide to cancer treatments, procedures, and tests. It can be used by healthcare professionals, patients, and Healthcare takers, The author's website also provides a different story ending, so be sure to check it out on the blog of updates as well.

For non-fiction I've been enjoying the self-help satire niche. The book "Rational Responses to Motivational Memes" by Paulie Amigo is a funny; so is the author's book "You Suck" which is also a non-fiction self-help satire.
I of course would love to recommend my book. I'm blown away by the response and hope you enjoy it too! Secret Life of a Hollywood Sex & Love Addict
A review that came in this morning: "This book is a total game-changer and despite the title is also very relatable. I listened to the audiobook, narrated by the author, and she is incredibly funny and down to earth. It's like hanging out in a cafe with a friend, and as she's telling the story of Roxanne I found myself thinking I never thought of it like that or yikes I need to work on that..."
Thanks!

TracksI read more fiction than non-fiction. One day I might switch and read more non-fiction than fiction. Anyway, I happen to have a non-fiction book in my hand. It's "Tracks" by Louise Erdrich. It's in Australia. It's not a new book. Still, there is so much to learn about that continent. There are camels, koala bears, gum trees along with Louise Erdrich's pure emotions. Loving every word. I am Mark Lee Myers (The Storyteller). I've published:THE TOMATO SMUGGLER (How One Man Stood Up to Communism) - a TRUE story.
A remarkable Romanian father cleverly protected his family’s freedom from oppressive communism during the 1980’s. You wonder where his determination came from until you understand the total necessity. The family endured hardships and harassment, but they always focused on happiness and contentment.

Hi, Carol. I don't have a weekly blog - I'm too computer illiterate. I will send you a friend invite, though!
I highly recommend "What the Eyes Don't See" by Hana Mona-Attisha, if anyone was interested in some nonfiction reading.

Looks like an interesting list, thank you. Love non-fiction, especially memoirs. Probably the best memoir I have read is "Life's Not Yoga" by Jacqui Burnett.
I'm reading an excellent memoir now. I bought it when it was published in 1994, but never had both time and inclination to read it until now. It's called Searching for Mercy Street, by Linda Gray Sexton, who is a daughter of the poet Anne Sexton, who committed suicide in her 40s. It's quite an exploration of her mother's mental illness, and a lot of family anecdotes, some quite horrifying.
I'd like to offer my own non-fiction memoir which was just published. It's based on my true story of my arranged marriage which was really a forced marriage. If we don't tell our stories, nobody will know about the human rights abuses hundreds of thousands of girls all over the world have suffered. Please read my book, as I hope to spread awareness. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09KRCD8MB/...
