Rachel Hackeburg | 3 comments Hello everyone!

Just wanted to introduce myself to the group. I am a new author, just publishing my very first book. It's a fiction, young adult book title, When They All Disappeared. It's a suspenseful, end times, short novel geared toward teens, although adults can get a lot out of it as well. I would love some reviews on it. If interested, you can find more information on Amazon or just contact me directly on here.

God bless!

Rachel

Darren Bennett | 4 comments Hello everyone. It's Darren here, writing from Brisbane, Australia. I'm looking forward to interacting with you all in the coming months. I'm excited about the release of my first book called The Classroom Called Life. It is now available on Amazon, Kindle, or Audible. In the book, I look at some of the lessons I've learned from my wife, family, church interactions, and from my working as a school teacher for over 25 years. I've also made a few massive mistakes which have been the hardest lessons to learn from.
I have lived through a catastrophic cyclone that flattened a city and survived a sinking cruise ship. Ultimately, I write about how God teaches and leads us through all kinds of interesting situations. Thank you for reading this post and taking an interest. The Classroom Called Life

Kingdom (kingdomexpansion) | 513 comments The Healing Miracles of Jesus A Physician and Her Faith by Margaret Ellis M.D.

The Healing Miracles of Jesus by Margaret Ellis M.D. explores the history, context, and culture, from a doctor's perspective, giving keen insight into the impossible ailments that Jesus healed during His ministry on Earth. Taken directly from Scripture the author advises the readers on her knowledge as an M.D., giving past testimonies of her time as a doctor that include personal testimony from her own life. This is an interesting read that gives knowledge that verifies these illnesses, their treatment secularly as a doctor, speaking faith, and the truth of what these miracles speak to us today.

This is a wonderful adventure into the healing miracles of Jesus that builds faith, teaches Scripture, and inspires readers in their faith. May you be richly blessed as you read, The Healing Miracles of Jesus.

Andrew Barton | 4 comments Sir George, The First Rising

Greetings all!
My name is Andrew D. Barton. I am the author of the new book titled, Sir George, the First Rising. This is the first book in the series, Dragonisheir.

The story follows a young man named George (pulled from the legend of St. George and the Dragon) who is gifted a magical sword from a minotaur. (the symbolism is discussed later throughout the book)
Through a series of events, he goes on a quest to save a princess, along with his friend Sir Gawain (from the Arthurian legend) and a fun, loving, talking horse named Olly who can only say 5 words.

Their road his filled with giants and trolls as the heroes make their way to the ruined city of Camelot, now refered to as Blandervale to mock its former nobility. Throughout the quest they are met with various friends and trials, and eventually we see the character's road to salvation.

One costumer review stated, "This is incredible. It carries a modern Pilgrim's Progress style to it. A must read with my family!"

If you like stories with dragons, giants, knights, talking animals, Scripture, and some farmiliar characters from other legends, you may enjoy this book.

Kingdom (kingdomexpansion) | 513 comments The Red Letter Parables Introducing Jesus As Master Storyteller by Bob Palumbo

And the disciples came and said to Him, “Why do You speak to them in parables?” Jesus answered them, “To you it has been granted to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it has not been granted.” [Matthew 13:10]
The Red Letter Parables by Bob Palumbo presents a walk through the mysteries of the parables of Jesus by only focusing on the “words in red” that Jesus spoke. Revealing that, in fact, Jesus is the Master Storyteller.

Have you ever wondered exactly what is a Tare? And why, Jesus said to let them grow together until the Harvest? These answers and more are explained in this exciting new book: The Red Letter Parables by Bob Palumbo.

Taking 40 parables, the book through the Gospels of the New Testament, Bob Palumbo investigates exactly what Jesus’ messages were through these stories. With fascinating insight, blended with research from various commentaries, a rich cultural and historical perspective sheds light on the actual chronological order of the parables. Looking at the parables from this viewpoint gives a much bigger impact and brings a better understanding of Jesus’ parables.

By presenting “bunches” and a zooming in and out perspective help readers gain an understanding as to “why” Jesus spoke these stories as He did. Hidden within Jesus’ storyline, is an amazing announcement of a new way and a New Covenant being announced to the Pharisees and Scribes of Jesus’ Day.

With this, Bob Palumbo blends an easy-to-read simple format and writing style that speaks to the layperson just as much as it does a pastor. With keen scriptural interpretation, the book lends to not only the overall picture of each parable, but zooms in for close-ups, much as a person would take a photograph.

Readers will be amazed and enlightened, finding increased faith as the messages that Jesus conveyed to His contemporaries, announced the Kingdom of God that was at hand, and was upon them in the flesh, in the form of a man, the sacrificial lamb of God, Jesus, the Son of God.

Profound, these parables will touch your life and bring increased faith. Relevant to today’s believer, these parables impact us as much as they did when Jesus told them. Readers will come to see the Son of Man, His resilience and as the Savior of the World, that knows All things. One will also discover the nature of God as a loving, gracious and kind, compassionate God, but One who is no pushover.

The 40 parables are arranged in such a way that this book would also make a great 40-day devotional or be perfect for a home group or Bible study.
