I just realized Francine Rivers is a California author. Today I started reading one of her novels, The Masterpiece. It is set in San Francisco and Topanga Canyon and so I looked at her bio on her website which says she still lives here in Northern California.
She's mainly known for writing Christian fiction, including Christian romances. I normally don't read romance novels but I've been wanting to read some of her books, and joined a readalong of The Masterpiece
