What are your thoughts on The Midnight Library by Matt Haig?

This book was phenomenal! I loved the meaning behind the story and cried so much when reading this

I’m planning to read this some point this month

The writing was nice and easily read.

I really liked the idea of going to an “in between place” whilst still being alive, but barely. - very interesting concept, one I hope to come across again in future books to see how the authors build on the idea.

Suicide is a permanent solution to temporary problem and it’s so sad to know how many people in the world choice that route whilst feeling that it’s the only way out. It was nice that instead of it being a set ending, it’s left to interpretation and the final “I want to live”. Made me happy, and felt.. correct for the protagonist.
