Hey, so, we might have to wait on the others to discuss most of the details on the queen, but I wanted to discuss her relationship with Cal? He's likely to be pretty distant due to everything that happened, so I just wanted to say that they likely wouldn't have a great relationship, even if the culprit is imprisoned.

As for the head guard, I kind of want Cal to be in charge of the army? (Or at least, be highly involved with it, as his skills lie in politics and war tactics.) So, while the crown prince's order would take precedence, Cal would be like, a general if there was a war and he'd fight in it and such. So, while Cal would technically be the head guard's superior (in terms of status, as he's a prince), I kind of want them to be more like co-workers? Cal would often consult them for their opinions and respect them as equal rather than someone below them. Would that work?

Cal is my prince by the way. ( The third prince. He wouldn't be in line for the throne under normal circumstances, as he's a child of the king and a concubine )

The queen isn't Cal's biological mother, but I was thinking that maybe she and Cal's mother were close (like idk, childhood friends)? So when Cal's mother died giving birth, maybe she would have adopted him? As he would technically be the sibling of her children regardless. would that be alright?

And one last thing.

So, the queen's second son (the second prince), would be Cal's twin of the sort. (The queen and the concubine would have given birth to the king's child on the same day, Cal being premature and born early. {c-section}. So, they are twins, but from different mothers?)
I don't think this would affect the queen too much, I just thought I'd let you know of the circumstances of his birth as well as the second prince.

hey, elizabeth. For your crown prince, can you make him anywhere between the ages of 19-24? (19 and 24 are acceptable as well, obviously)

The oldest princess so far is 18, and because of modern times, he'd have to be older than her for him to be crown prince (plus, he'd need to be an adult to have the selection.)

18 is fine as well if Xavier is fine with them being twins

K, so for my angry princess Aera (in my character thread), she always sneaks out, never says the right thing, always escalates arguments, drinks a lot, flat-out beats people up, is obsessed with the color green, has a pet bull named Lexie who’s like her best friend, and is READY to fight you on the argument is coffee better than tea (It is). For everyone who has a royal, what do think your characters’ relationship with her would be like? She’s also very protective, would definitely just lie on the floor and listen to loud music with you if you didn't say a single word, and should probably have a designated person who she’s EXTREMELY close to and count on to calm her down. Big bakugou energy basically.

maybe a bit more distant? Seeing as it'd be only a few years after the guy was imprisoned and he got away from that torture. He's not as emotionally mature. Though, I feel like at some point, I want him to try to connect with her? He's more of a mess and a lot colder than he was in Al's group though (like in kenaide's old group)

Yeah I think that Aera will be like actually detached and angry at her family in this group because she blames them a lot instead of it being that she‘s just a rebellious teenager, and I totally get the difference in him! I feel like in this group, they’re morelikely to bond over shared past emotions, but either way I feel like Cal would still be the more emotionally mature one out of them. But yeah, I've always loved their relationship in the old group so it would be really cool to have something like that here!

For his relationship with Cal, they likely wouldn't be close.
But they'd probably have to work together occasionally due to Cal's involvement with their army.

aera and cal (the two submitted royals) were premade characters from selected groups. (Cal was a prince and Aera was a princess. we just tweaked both of them slightly.) so we don't exactly expect y'all to pop them out after a day of claiming them. (all i really did was rewrite the personality)

I'm not sure how cal's godchild's (i want to say he adopted her under the table, so while she's his godchild in technicality, he's also his daughter) relationship would be with the crown prince, though, I'd imagine cal would probably try to keep her away from him. As for the child, the only ones who would know of who she actually is (rather than someone he's raising to become his vassal) would be the queen and his twin brother.

The main reason for secrecy is that as his godchild, and adopted daughter, she'd have rights to inheritance. Right now, she's the only one who would have rights to his inheritance, which would make her a target. So, until she's of age and can protect herself, her status and everything is to be kept under locks.

(Yeah, probably! Aera's role in the Northern Rebels is basically her being their go-to person for sending in truly vile people that they wouldn't mind her beating up; an attack dog basically. So if your deleted would be one of those people who bring them to her, or something like that, then yes they'd probably know each other. She first turned to the Northern Rebels because she had no one else to turn to and they treated her like family starting with a young group of kids ((when she was small too)) who taught her how to fight, so if you'd like them to be close, your selected could be one of them?)

He doesn't want anyone manipulating her while she was young like the one guy did to him. He doesn't want her being used or to get her. Keeping it a secret is how he plans to protect her from everything that happened to him repeating.

((My selected was basically saved by them when she was on the streets at age 12, and she's close to the leader because they saved her life sort of and saved her sister from an abusive father, so yeah maybe she could have been in that group of kids! Though I don't know how close she'd be to all of them since she dislikes people lol. She's posted if you want her history. But yeah so maybe they know each other a little? She was sent into the selection to gain more Intel and stuff))
