Hi Nicole, I'm actually working on 3 projects right now. Two are books number 3 and 4 in the Pink and Country series (book 2 is coming out July 13 which is really exciting!!) and the 3rd one is book 1 in a complete new series I wrote a while back and put on the back burner but now I'm almost ready to send it to my editor.

I'll have many new titles coming out in the next months!

Thanks for your question and I hope you're having a great day!

Hi Ashley!
I really like writing soulmates, second chance, and small-town stories. I find out that usually I have at least one of those, sometimes two by the time I type 'the end'. I don't really think about it when I start my process. I sit up before my computer and write and they come up naturally.

In my head, I'm going through all the stories I've drafted so far as I'm writing this and realized they are all taking place in small towns.

Have a nice day!

Hi Jennifer,
I love your question.
Lots of authors have daily objectives, but I really don't have a set schedule or mapping of my days. Some days I can write 10K words and some days I barely hit the 2,000 mark.

I always let my imagination take the lead. When I'm in one of my creative flows nothing can stop me, not even dinner time. I'll write until my eyes burn and I make too many typos.

Having 4 kids can also be challenging because so many things I haven't prepared for happen in a week.
I see it as a strength, though, since I can easily adapt :o)

Coming out with a new story that evolves on the screen is my favorite part, because even if I plan some of the major points in my head, the characters often lead me to a different path I hadn't pictured before.

Hope that answers your question.
Have a great week!

Beatrice (beatricemasalunga) Hello Ms. Emmanuelle!

What inspires you to write romance? Any particular romance books that influenced you to be a writer?

Emmanuelle Snow (emmanuellesnow) | 6 comments Hi Beatrice!
Thanks for your question.
Growing up I've always been an avid thriller and mystery reader, but each time I start writing, romance is the genre that comes naturally. (I've always loved the romance part of the thrillers I read!!)

I'm a big fan of feel-good romances, but when I write, I prefer complex story with emotional depth. I love when the plot and characters are relatable and they could be your best friend, your sibling, or even your neighbor.

I often say I'm in love with love so romance seems like the natural thing for me.

Have a great week!
Emmanuelle
