I have been loving Regency romances the past couple of years, especially ones with lots of humor. I highly recommend Tessa Dare’s Castles Ever After series and Lisa Kleypas’s Wallflowers series. A Devil in Winter is my favorite from Wallflowers.
For lighthearted steampunk with lots of romance, Gail Carriger’s Parasol Protectorate series is delightful.
For pure silliness and linguistic gymnastics, read anything P.G. Wodehouse wrote with his Blandings castle characters or with Jeeves and Wooster. He’s on my go-to list when I need a guaranteed laugh.
