Play Book Tag discussion

This was not a book that I would normally have picked up, and without the tag this month, it would probably have been left on my TBR for years. Having said that, I loved this book and I’m so happy I read it. The book was very fast-paced, and there were some twists and turns that kept me wondering what would happen next. This book follows the story of 4 women – 3 are in-house lawyers at a big company in Dallas, and 1 is a cleaner, who have put up with arrogance, manipulation and worse from their boss, who seems well-positioned to become CEO of the company following the sudden death of the previous CEO. The story is interspersed with police interviews and depositions, and we find out quite early on that something is clearly wrong at the company. The book certainly shows the need for the #MeToo movement, but it also shows the importance of strong females supporting each other in the corporate world.
