Hi and welcome, I want to kick this group off with a question, what is a specific book trope you love and what book has that trope?

Zoë One of my fav tropes is when the main character gets hurt and is looking at her injury in the mirror, and the love interest walks in, sees it and says "who did this to you?"
I have heard about this trope on BookTok and Love it have not come across a book like this this yet sadly.

mary (ferrari's version) (marychamomile) | 4 comments When one character sits by the love interest’s sickbed. I just really love it. I don’t remember any books with it sadly, I would love to read some :(

Lesli (aokiin) It's a pretty popular trope nowadays but the enemies to lovers trope has me by the neck. I've read so many books with this trope and I'll never get sick of it lol
The Cruel Prince and ACOTAR have this trope which are both series I really enjoyed!

Cassidy (cassidyyy) | 3 comments yessss i love the enemies-to-lovers trope too!! The Cruel Prince and The Kinder Poison are both amazing books that have this trope. i also love the one bed trope, and i feel like We Free the Stars executed it really well :))).

Carla | 3 comments i think my favorite trope is enemies to lovers/lovers to enemies. The Winner's Curse and The Bridge Kingdom have this trope and both are amazing books!! and also underrated :(

The Winner's Curse is SO GOOD.

Sofie (sofiepearl) I love the trope where one of the characters admits they've been in love with the other for far longer than we thought (usually friends to lovers but you see it occasionally in enemies to lovers when the MC despises the love interest but they don't hate them back)

Examples: People We Meet on Vacation, The Hating Game, Moment of Truth

Caroline Alderfer | 3 comments I love enemies to lovers but I’ve seen that a lot of here so another one is found family! A popular book with this is Six of Crows. Others is The House on the Cerulean Sea and The Gilded Wolves!

Ellen (elleneli) | 2 comments I loveeee enemies to lovers too! But If were getting a little more specific, then one of my favorite tropes is when the "enemy" - love interest (preferably the male in straight romance) claims that he doesn't have any feelings or cares ab the mc but gets extremely jealous when he sees someone else w her. I just love that idk why:))
