I dunno
I had this one I started working on (and I dnfed it)
It was harmless kidnapping in NYC with kids fighting to get their family back. Kids as in ten-year-olds. No adults. Even I would have the sense to ring the police. And the mother also didn't call up the police. Nope. Horrible story.

someone once accidentally steps through two stones and ends up in the strata. the strata are eight “layers” of reality. earth, the sleeping city, amarantis, seven spires and four others. (i don’t remember the other names i came up with lol) each strat keeps to itself, with one gate into the strata per strat. but now there are more gates appearing and more and more people from different strata are ending up in others.

I thought of it after watching tangled and the whole lost princess trope
MC is presented to the royalty as the lost princess, but in reality she isn’t and she goes to kill the real lost princess bc everyone hates the royalty - I haven’t refined the details but at this point does it matter
