Bailee walked to the lounge wearing (view spoiler), her hair was still damp from her shower. She sat down on one of the couches. There was a tv in the room so she grabbed the remote and switched it on, turning it to the movies channel. She brought blankets and cuddled herself in one, she waited for Josiah.
Josiah walked in and smiled at her, he was wearing his black jeans, white shirt, large sky blue sweater and no shoes. In each hand he held a cup of hot chocolate, and walked over, sitting next to her. Handing her one of the cups, hers having mini marshmallows in it.
"Aww, thanks," She said sweetly. She took one of the cups of hot chocolate. She sipped at it and gently leaned her head onto his shoulder. "What movie do you want to watch?" she asked, flipping through the movies on the screen with the remote, she looked up at him.
He kissed her forehead, "No problem," he replied.
Josiah had his knees up to his chest and hot chocolate resting on them,
"You chose," he said, "It's only fair," he adds.
Bailee smiled, "Uh what about...Jack Frost?" she asked with a playful smile. She sipped at her hot chocolate, and then set it down on one of the small tables next to where she sat, she leaned over and grabbed a blanket, and wrapped it around Josiah. Then she leaned back into him and grabbed her hot chocolate and sipped at it.
"No." he said, that was a firm answer.
Josiah didn't like his father and didn't like his mother, both were terrible people in his opinion. They were the reason he ran away from home and came back to the school for his second year.
"Sorry," she said looking down, "I was just joking," she added. She took a deep breath and flipped through more movies, "What about...this one? The Hunger Games? Im kinda dying for some action," she said with a small chuckle.
"Sure," he put his hot chocolate down and put his arms around her.
Josiah hadn't seen the movie before (btw, great movie and book series), so it was something new and hoped he would like it.
Bailee smiled and clicked play.
Josiah sat quietly, watching the movie. He was enjoying the time spent with Bailee, he smiled.
Bailee smiled looking up at Josiah. The movie finished after an hour or two. "What did you think of it?" she asked.
Josiah sat eyes wide, he blinks and rubbed his eyes as they started to water.
"Really good," he said.
It had been quite intense and very dark from what he could tell so it was a bit of a shock at first.
"You ok?" she asked, looking up at him. She wondered what he was thinking about. She desperately wanted to know so maybe she could make it better, but she would still respect him and his choice either way.
"Yeah, that was intense," he said, and smiled at her.
It had been a good movie thought and he'd enjoyed it, even with everything that had happened.
Bailee smiled, "You pick the next one," she said, finishing her hot chocolate. She set her cup down and pulled the blanket up to her chin.
Josiah thought for a moment, then chose one with a clown fish and another blue fish. It seemed like a cute movie and thought maybe Bailee would like it.
"Finding Nemo! Oh I love this movie!" Bailee said with a smile, she leaned into Josiah and after about thirty minutes into the movie she had drifted to sleep.
Josiah had to be happy, she liked the movie he picked and he felt amazing. While she slept Josiah sat quietly, holding Bailee in his arms.
After the movie had ended, ( quite a long time ago ) Bailee woke up. She yawned, "Oh crap! How long was I out for?" she asked.
Josiah was sitting quietly when she woke up,
"A while," he said, trying not to make a big deal about it.
He really hadn't minded and had been watching small films while she slept.
"Sorry, I was up most of the night," she said thinking about you she added in her head. Her cheeks blushed and she smiled up at Josiah.
"It's fine," he said, he thought it was good she slept.
Since sleeping helped build up your immune system and she had a cold, so that was a good thing. Josiah smiled at her, and continued to hold her.
"What do you want to do now?" she asked, snuggling into him. She smiled, this made her happy, just spending time with Josiah.
"I don't know," he admits.
Josiah felt warm, and normally he was cold, it was probably because he'd never felt this way before about a girl and she also liked him back.
Bailee chuckled, "We could just stay here," she said, pausing, "like this for a bit,"
"Sure," he says.
Josiah was completely on board with this idea and pulled her into his lap, he would consider her as his girlfriend at this point.
Bailee giggled, a very rare act coming from her. She gently played with his platinum blonde hair.
He didn't mind, so he sat letting her. Josiah thought it was nice, the room was quiet and he was enjoying time with someone he actually liked for once. Not just a person who he was spending a night with. Bailee was also a lot nicer then his last few boyfriends.
She looked into Josiah's brown eyes. She could silently tell that he was enjoying himself. She smiled to herself. Bailee had never had a boyfriend before but for some reason, it felt like she knew what she was doing when she was around him.
"So you feeling better?" he asked.
Josiah still felt bad for not making sure about it last night. He hadn't meant for her to get a cold and it worried him.
"Mm hm," she said, "Hey, don't feel bad about it. I may have super powers but my immune system is just like a normal humans," she said, with a small laugh.
"That's the point!" He put his head against hers, "I should have realized that."
Josiah's immune system was different, he didn't get sick from being in the cold, but he did struggle with to much warmth, like on sunny days when it was to hot for him to handle.
"Its alright, Im perfectly fine," she added. "Tell me more about you," she finally said after a few minutes of silence.
"No," he said, he kept his head against hers.
He also kept his arms around her, she was warm and he was quite a bit colder, but didn't really know since it didn't bug him.
"Why not?" she asked, looking up at him. She bit her lip, she wasnt trying to make him upset or anything.
"I don't feel like it," he said.
Josiah didn't like talking about his past with other people, he'd be trying to forget it if he was being honest.
"Oh ok," she said. She laid her head back down on his shoulder. What to do now? she wondered.
Josiah sat quietly,
"Ummm so are we like dating?" he asked her, and felt his face get warm.
He really hoped that it was a yes, because he really liked Bailee.
Bailee blushed red, bright red. "If you want to," she muttered, not looking up at him. She really hope that it was a yes.
"Yeah," he said, he was smiling.
Glad to hear that she was okay with it, and that this meant he was going to break out of a shell he had been in for way to long.
Bailee smiled, she leaned up and over and kissed him on the lips lightly.
Josiah felt like he was going to melt, which would make sense at this point. He rubbed the back of his neck, something he did when he was happy but unsure to express it.
Bailee smirked but slinked back down to her spot with her head resting on Josiah's shoulder.
Josiah held her close, he was really happy, if he was being honest with himself.
"Want to go somewhere? Or watch another movie?" She asked looking up at her boyfriend, Josiah.
Josiah was quite happy just sitting and holding Bailee, he honestly didn't have motivation to move.
"No," "Let's just stay here," he said.
Bailee smiled and laid her head back on his shoulder.
Josiah fell asleep, he hadn't slept the worst last night, but it wasn't the best either. He rested his head on hers as she slept.
Bailee smiled, looking at him. She brushed a few strand hairs away from his face while he slept.
